I'm HOPING not to wait too long to do the work. After the tranny, diff, and rear driveshaft, it seems all I'll have left is front driveshaft, front diff and brackets, axles, and hubs. I think that's it?

The big decision is if twin stick is worth it

I mean, probably on a sat. The work doesn't seem to difficult. With two sets of hands and a few tools it should be simple. And a lift will help

For some reason rausch is easier for me to type. I prefer rausch because it’s 30 min closer and better trails but the price is outrageous. Aoaa is $30 ($35 maybe?) for the day, whereas rausch is $53 + $20 annual fee. I’m not paying those prices. There’s enough stuff to bash against at aoaa.

Might as well just throw the factory junk in the trash as they ain't worth a shit!

 

The front deflected bugs quite well, and the "mid" certainly trapped a fair share of gravel and old oil splatter during changes!!

I couldn't get the middle 17mm bolts lined up last night before the wife and baby beckoned (I was glad to have about 45mins undisturbed with my new ifs skid) and knew I wasn't going to get the mid-skid up yesterday evening. I'll hopefully get to the inlaws garage this week, and have an extra set of hands to help with holding/alignment of ifs and mid skid setup, not to mention grandparent baby sitting time !

Then I might be able to take some accurate measurements for if or where the SOS t-case mounting and mobtown bolt on sliders will overlap, and how I can best tackle that sandwich of mod madness. Perhaps the sliders can be tapped via drill press or mill, and then I can do rust mitigation and re-rattle can them.

We bought a locked and geared front diff for Shannon’s truck, so once her rear diff is regeared, her old front diff will be a sitting around. I believe her factory one is 4.10 gearing, not sure if that interests anyone
