    I would be curious as your now on the same pulley size as me and I get it here and there still. I had a major loss of go power as I pressed on the pedal. the truck pretty much went flat. I partially am thinking maybe its the fuel pump (which still needs an upgrade)

    be gentle. you NEED a fuel pump upgrade. i still had shortcomings with a 2.7 with a methanol and stock fuel pump. please dont push your luck when this data is available.

    Its next on my list. I barely got headlights back on my truck this past weekend. Truck doesn't get driven too much right now. For now I am going to chalk it up to the fuel pump until I get that sorted out. Also get my AFR gauge installed for better tuning. Its been a bit of a guess so far. @JustDSM did a damn great job without but would make things much easier.

    You need to upgrade your fuel pump first before you proceed with any further investigation. Anything else is purely speculatory at this junction and since fueling is the lifeblood of this setup or any engine at that, you need to make sure that is up to par with the demands required of it.

    Agreed. I did not expect it as much on the 2.8 but given all the other mods it only makes sense. I have what I need I just need to carve out time to install it now.

    Anyone know off hand the gasket in the Y that is in the middle after the 2nd cat on the driver side? I picked up all the gaskets to remove and realized it would be easier to just remove just that section, rather then the entire thing.

    I dont normally romp on the truck but I have not noticed any hesitation from any of my numerous pulleys, tundra maf, ect.
    When I say go she goes, quickly without hesitation!

    I will say after idling in hot weather I know timing retards due to the maf's iat sensor heat soaking.
    Once driving for a few and the maf sees the lower temp it feels safe to advance timing.

    @JustDSM could this be a possibility of what you're seeing?

    For what it's worth, I can minic this exact thing 100% of the time when leaving my old metal shop. Reverse out the driveway downhill, put it in drive and I will get hesitation after it is put in drive and I try to get moving forward. Did this before hptuned too.

    I have always felt that it had to do with the speed sensor or yaw or traction or something. There is a specific stop light on a hill that I turn right onto coming to work and it will do it every single time. It definitely does seems to be related to the the angle of the truck. I don't even remember pre s/c but it did do it pre Ucon. Maybe I will have one of the techs do a zero point calibration on the truck just to zero that out since I have never done it and I am lifted.

    i don't recall it pre but its always right after a start or a quick downshift and gas to start going again. The mystery will be solved at some point. I just hope it does not happen when I really need it. (safety reasons)

    I literally just threw my NA engine cover away. There is literally no point in trying to sell it because shipping would be more than the cost of the part itself.

    are you referring to just the top cover?
    You really only need the nuts for the top it should clip into the stock not much to it.
