I also like the "coffee made me do it", because of all of those dumb decisions I've made due to "coffee"

I was reaching for a piece of cardboard and it ruptured. I’ve had several steroid injections in both hands over the last 3 years and the hand specialist thinks that the injections may have weakened the tendon.

Gotta be careful with that stuff. It'll get you.
My daily caffeine intake almost makes me immune to whatever coffee would do...unless I add Bailey's

Not awful depending on what I've been drinking. I've had ones where I need to courtesy flush myself

Guy just dropped his mower off for repair. He wouldn't really get a word in and needed an "exact estimate" on how long it would take. He was being a dick, so I told him about a week, maybe longer.

All it needs is a carb cleaning which takes a half hour. The Ho strikes again

Ouch. Hope the swelling subsides and it heals well for you. At least the stitches look like they'll heal nicely.
/sigh to be skinny again. Now if I do that I just get heartburn and indigestion...and fat.

When I lived in Corpus Christi, it was a running joke that San Antonio had a beach. Even though it was 145 miles away. But I-37 was a straight shot between the two cities with very little Police interference. You could make it in about a hour and a half.

So the civil unrest came to my little town after all.

    Story Time...

So I get to work and Mrs Gritto says: "There's gonna be a demonstration at 2 PM on the Square."
Me: "Where did you hear that?"
Her: "It was in the paper this morning. Stay away from the middle of town."
Me: "Sometimes I have no choice."

Sure enough, I had a delivery on Main Street, a half block from the Square.
I parked on a parallel street and walked up an alley to my destination.
I coulda saved myself the trouble, traffic was normal.
I looked down the street and...nothing.
I didn't walk to the Square, so maybe there were people there, I dunno. This was at 2:30 PM.
Oh, and one young gal drove through town laying on her horn with her fist out the window.
    That's it. o_O
