Awesome CB setup, TRD leaf springs, matching camper shell...more to come some day.
Ok....so my wife and I noticed today that we went to buckle our seatbelts and the driverside seatbelt was completley soaked through.

It has been raining hard today. Thus I assume I have a leaking seal or something and I was wondering if this was a common problem or if there were any suggestions.

I did a search on wet seatbelts, and nothing really came of it.

its an 06 access cab if it makes any difference.

some of this, a little of that
any possibility when you closed the door last time the seatbelt was left hanging outside?

No roof racks, the door was closed all the way, and it was the entire complete seat belt....every square inch of it was soaked.

Was the seat soaked? If it wasn't then water isn't getting through your cab... Your wife or whoever sat there last prob closed the door on the seat belt.

I have the same problem with my 1st gen, driver's seatbelt soaked, not hanging out the door, or anything like that. Access cab, only thing I can think of is the seals on the side window. Was hoping for an answer or a fix...

Got in my 2007 Access cab this morning, and my driver side belt is soaked. It was parked outside, and there was a lot of rain last night. Dorr was shut tightly, and the belt was fully retracted. This thread hasn't answered the question of WTF is going on, except that there is a TSB on it???

I'll be checking it out closer when I get a chance, buth this is disturbing, to say the least!

No money, all went to truck...
all it takes is one portion of your seatbelt to be exposed to water and then it'll soak through your whole seat belt. I left a tiny bit hanging out my door one time and the water was able to soak through the whole belt.

I think the scientific term is capillary action.

My seat belt was fully retracted, no capillary action here. Doors were shut tight...

    So where is the TSB????
