Yeah, some tourism groups brought him out here last summer and he rode a bunch of different stuff over three days. He rode this place on day one and talks about the Coke machine pretty early in the video.

Went on a ride to test the rack prototype. This style would work with fork mount racks, but I need to offset the mount a bit if I want to have a rack that keeps the front wheel on and have access to the rear doors.

Went to swap my 1up roof rack from my hitch to my bedbars yesterday and found that their "flush" hardware isn't compatible with my 80/20 aluminum crossbars. They also didn't include standard mounting hardware in addition to the "flush" stuff. It's either one or the other, apparently.

    Grrr... #firstworldproblems

my tent opens to the passenger side. So I have to take the bike down when camping but it clears fine once I do that.

Threw some Saint Calipers on my XTR levers. Between new pads and full flush and bleed I’m guessing 50% more power over the 2 Pot XTRs.

I grew up skating, from 5th grade till college in NYC. No one would wear a helmet, that's super Jerry status. Imagine a dude rollin up with a roadie helmet, spandex, and Gform'ed up. That's about half as dork-sport as a helmet for a skater. At some point, it matters.

Man those Saint calipers are no joke. The train-stopping power is ridiculous. I just remembered I have a set, sitting in the bike-shit box. I should probably sell those...
