Thoughts on 37s

Digging my pro comp xtreme MT2s 37x12.50x17 so far. They are nice on the street, good in the wet and worked great offroad. They balanced out real nice as well, discount tire surprisingly balanced beadlocks for me. I did the whole airsoft BB thing with my old swampers with mixed results, you could tell when they moved inside the tire which is oddly hard to describe. Those swampers were also visibly out of round, never run an interco on the street if you want to even remotely be comfortable, plus there are so many radials out there now that work great on road and offroad. Que the TN and KY crew calling me out LOL!!!

 

Boo....... jk its all good. I think the bias ply right now have more benefits for me than radials.

So, it’s sitting on them, I still need to cut and tub all the things so I can actually use the truck and hit the mall, but I’m curious about thoughts on gearing.. I’ve been assuming 5.29s for my 3.4 with auto tranny, but figured I’d check in and get some thoughts from others, hopefully hear from people running the same set up. Have my cart ready to go with ECGS and 5 days off to pull diffs and do brakes and a bunch of other things. Just want to make sure I make the right choice.

Ps. Front will be getting an ARB.
