Hey guys, I am building my 2010 tacoma trd sport and the last step of the build is the wheels. I've found a set that I think are super sweet but they have a 106mm center bore. According to the site I am using these wheels wont fit, but when looked on fitment guides and search forums to double check people say they do. I am absolutely stumped.... If anyone uses wheels with 106mm center bore on their 2nd gen or knows that they will fit, please let me know!

    Thanks- PKUKID

They have to have a center bore of 106mm. Some aftermarket wheels for the Tacoma are listed as 106.1mm center bore.

106, and106.1 is what I've seen online, either of those will work.

What about 108mm bore wheels? Anything special to get these to fit?

You will need to get a hub centric adapter. 106 to 108. This ensures that the wheel is centered on the bore and prevents any vibrations. They are pretty cheap, about $20 for the set and are made of plastic and sometimes aluminum if you prefer a heftier build.

    I definitely could've ran a 108, I just really like these wheels and they only.come in a 106.

Yep my wheels are 108 because the 106 variant would take months for any stock. I just used the adapter and all is well.

Are the adapters really necessary? I have a set of aftermarket wheels for the wife's car, for snow tires. I bought the adapters, but using one of the snow tires for a spare, I left the adapter off. I carefully tightened the lug nuts in a star pattern and had no vibrations at any speed.

Did you order aftermarket lugs to go with your wheels? Or am I good to just reuse the OEM Sport lugs?
