It's the fuel pump. 100% without a doubt in my mind.

What you can do in the meantime to make sure fuel demand keeps up to "band aid" it per se is to boost reference the fuel pressure regulator at the fuel rail on the passenger side to the boost port at the rear of the supercharger on the driver's side.

Also @Philis Blue Tacoma if that takes care of your issue that is highly indicative of a failing fuel pump that is running out of steam up top.

I believe that @JustDSM 's comment was directed towards you. If so, then you should definitely take him up on that offer. He has the resources and knowledge to see and decipher what all is going on from to to mechanical.

will this fuel pump install somehow fix my transmission rev spiking before shifting? And the pulling at some random parts of the rev range?

I’m going to install the walbro fuel pump first and go from there. I’m not running any AFR or boost gauge and I have no idea how to install that, so I might pick one up and drive down there in the coming week

No. That's a seperate issue which may be software related or transmission shift speed related.

A lot of us used to have the spiking, but we added our shift kit in there and it went away for most of us. There is potentially a software deal which makes the transmission do that but as of right now I don't know if it was discovered what was causing it.

A record new 14.08 MPG mixed city driving as of before my state activation using the Ruthenium plugs.

I have never surpassed 232 miles to the tank and these new plugs got me 245 miles to the tank, even when moving all highway (From F mark until the light turned on). I got this new mileage by moving mixed driving like I always do, some city, some highway. I was even WOT boosting every here and there too.

I'm going to do one more tank after I get back home and report back what my average is. As of right now I'm very pleased with the new plugs. I can't wait to start driving on them some more. :)

Here is a latest 50-90 MPH pull on the 2.8 pulley. It takes much less time to pull up to speed with it in comparison to what it did with the 2.3. I hit a road bump at the end of the pull.

Thats awesome. I hope my Fuel Pump helps. I am getting less than 10 mpg, worse then before the SC project. I knew it could worse but shes drinking fuel like no other. Any other thoughts? I was hoping for at least 12 mpg, 14 mpg would be fantastic.

For the Fuel pump anyone have a link to approved connectors for connecting my fuel pump? I have plenty of connectors just not sure if any are resistent to fuel. AEM 320 pump will be going in. Was hoping to try and tackle it this weekend.

I found a pump on marketplace if you want I can link for about $60. You could build and test on this platform then just drop in. I did mine in one night and it was miserable. I was also fabricating mounts and lifting an LRA tank to fit at the same time by myself. Let me know

sure ill check it out. i like the idea of having it all built out then dropping it in when ready rather but in the end it needs to happen.
