I'm about 2 hrs 15 mns away and am hoping to leave before lunch Friday. Depends how work shapes up on Thursday. Goal is to get camp set up around lunch Friday and then go for a ride with you guys right afterwards. Dupont would be great that day! Haven't ridden the Big Rock trail yet so I would vote for that.

no no don't do that. I just knew your dates for riding included Friday so I didn't know what the riding times planned were for the day.

The Hub is still 5 1/2 hours, gotta add one for time zone change.

born and raised, but I still call it lunch lol.

super off topic funny story, I used to work as a pharmacy technician and this older man called in and wanted his prescription filled. I asked when he wanted to pick it up and he said I'll be there just before supper, so I safely put it in for like 1pm to be filled well before anyone eats dinner. The joker shows up at 11am to pick it up and gets mad it's not ready before LUNCH. I was like man...you said supper...lol

Huh, you might have that swapped, Dinner is lunch, supper is the evening meal.

Typically this is how my wife and I do it. For this trip I'll probably be taking all my meals at camp or outside somewhere (maybe takeout?). I'll be happy as a clam if others head out for a bite while I stay at camp and everyone comes together for beverages later.

Dinner is the largest meal of the day, regardless of when eaten, but which in the Old South was usually the Noon meal. Supper was a smaller meal at the end of the day.

Saturday we will not likely be returning to camp once we leave, we will likely just eat lunch off the food truck at The Hub or BBQ at the joint across the street. Supper (or Dinner haha) will likely put us at Oscar Blues.

I like the idea of just planning for breakfast for myself, and eating out for the rest. makes packing easier, won't need stove and all that junk

I just want you all to know, I'm doing my best to get better at cardio/climbing before this ride...but mother nature is being an absolute asswipe and raining any days I have time to ride.
