Will you post an update on what you think of this kit? Did they fit as described and were they relatively easy to install.

One of mine is out too, after just under 2 years of use. I think I’m gonna hit up Hikari and see what their warranty situation is.

 

210 pgs....looking to replace the headlights and fog lights with LEDs.
I am correct in thinking it’s not as simple as changing just the bulbs?

 

@SELAroadrunner not as simple. I've had to return a few JDMASTAR's because the base was too big and would hit the body of the truck. My current set took a little bit of force to get in, let's see if I can get them out later lol. There isn't much space where the low beams are located.

 

I just replaced all mine with Diode Dynamics LEds. They make the highest quality LEDs and the map and dome bulb dont haveexposed diode . Diode Dynamics and search bulbs for 2019 Tacoma. If you search 2020 they dont show

Here are Bulb types:
Map/Reader bulbs are 194
Vanity Bulbs are 28mm Fuse
Dome Bulb is 29mm Festoon

And if ya do like me the license plate bulbs are also 194s


Also Medlin4Tacos on here sells a full kit with the exposed diodes like thos Firefly ones on Amazon

 

has anyone put LEDs in the TacomaBeast headlights?

 

I have a pair of 2019 OEM PRO head lights I bought for my 2016 SR5 Tacoma. I am looking if anyone knows of someone or if their is someone here that knows how to swap them out.Desperately need guidance any advice will be appreciated. located in SOCAL

Not that I've seen. They look closed in the back portion unable to fit any drop in LED's and reclose it. Also think I saw somewhere it voids warranty.

 

i’ve heard that H11 LEDs are plug and play but i’m debating on just getting the TacomaBeast ones or spending double and getting the AlphaRex ones

 

what color and lumens did you go with? And are you happy with the lights or would you change anything if you did it again?

 

Sylvania ZEVO's H11 come with a 5 years replacement warranty...just saying

 

Has anyone replaced thier brake light bulbs with LED and not had any hyper flash problems ? If so what did you use ? My goal is to make them a little brighter. I have 2019 SR and would like to replace the bulbs but don't want to add a resister. Thank you for ANY help.

 

I did, I respect Sylvania/Osram products so that's what I got for my brake lights...no issues. The Zevo line is well engineered, most of their lights come with crazy long warranty...some even lifetime!, i love dependability!...going Zevo all out!

 

Sylvania Zevo LEDs are good. Have those for my interior bulbs. The zevo line comes with a lifetime warranty and I have had a couple replaced in the past with no issues what so ever. Just need to keep your receipt.

So I upgraded the mirror housings with sequential flashers and replaced the mirrors with LED arrows in them with no issue. Then decided to replace the front signals with LED and everything appeared to work for a day. Then I started getting hyper flashing so I installed this resistor. Issue was not resolved.

I guess I will find out this winter since I just changes all my signal bulbs with LED.

 

Get in line and wait for @MESO to drop some Total Tail Stage 1. You won't be disappointed with the product he delivers! If you do get hyper-flashing with his kit, he also has resistors.

 

They're in stock on tacomabeast, just installed mine last week, one of my favorite mods so far.
