I do have a DC but even that the backseat room is minimal, especially behind me it's almost non-existent. A Rav would definitely be an upgrade as far as passenger seating is concerned. I guess a small subie like the crosstrek would be just for me to zip around in while getting good mileage :burnrubber:. Truck definitely stays though for the hauling and simply being able to "throw shit in the bed". In my mind I'm still too green in the auto maintenance world to take on bigger jobs than oil changes and brake jobs on the truck and other general maintenance without having a backup to drive around when I ultimately f up or for extended jobs :notsure::notsure: though lift install went smoother than expected so I guess I really don't know what to complain about I guess....

    DON'T CRUSH MY DREAMS DAMMIT!

I won't lie to you, I have never seen more recently bought used cars in my life since this whole thing started in March. Hooksett/Manch all I see are dealer plates driving around. People throwing that stimulus check at a down payment I guess.

watch out for the wiring harnesses and sensors disintegrating on the early cayennes. They’re essentially a rebadged Touareg and from two decades of experience, vw’s aren’t the most reliable on the road.
I’m a sucker for a German sporty hatch...

It's a buyers market for used vehicles no doubt. And interest rates are low as well.

theres a ‘19 crewmax tundra off road sr5 With less than 10k that I’ve been eyeing since before covid happened that’s down to like 34k now... May be worth buying and throwing the last year of my lease on swap a lease or something.

German vehicles at 100k have electrical issues? Say it ain't so! :p

Yeah I think even the newer ones are still rebaged with a bigger engine and nicer interiors....which is basically what the VW > Audi > Porsche chain is. I do love the golf, I would get one of those.

ultimately, my “fun car” will be a boxster, Cayman or a cheap 996 so I’m right there with ya. Had my share of 16v jettas, scvr6 and tdi golfs, and GTI’s and it’s time to move on up.

Current is the Optoma UHD60, which is quite a nice 4k setup. If you don't need 4k though, I'll sell ya my Optoma HD25-LV, which is an awesome 1080p projector.

4k at 100"+ is phenomenal though. It's like being in a movie theater.

Damn those are some towers! Much larger than mine, but I'm still living that #ApartmentLife unfortunately. Once I get a house...

Oh definitely. And I have to apologize a little bit because metal stock supply chain prioritizes aerospace so we get to keep building while builders like mobtown are given lower priority.

and then people are annoyed when their skids are late when an entire country is shut down. Selfish p.... I’m going to stop there before I get in trouble. Good thing I don’t work in customer service. :D

Based on what I was getting for numbers when I was debating trading, I'm only ahead by a few thousand right now, and usually I'm way ahead since I make close to double payments. I'd be quite a ways upside down if I just made the normal payment.

I've started saving for a third car. My budget is -$500 as of right now, but I'll get there.

I need like $14-15,000 for what I want. The wife said she doesn't care as long as it's not an over the top eyesore or takes money away from our living budget. It will likely take years, so we will see what happens.

It's not that. It's just been a sting of unfavorable business for a long time.

Just part of why I take my business elsewhere.

I was extremely confident in the security of the load. As far as any passing driver could see, it might have well been twine.
Side note: my wife thinks my vision struggles with color. When I got home she asked why it was green. I said, "What are you talking about? Its black just like the truck?" That was a fun 10 sec joke and less enjoyable night after.

I don't miss having 3 vehicles. Too much trouble to keep up with. (Mainly because I didn't have the proper space for them)
