Hopefully these photos give you an accurate depiction. You can take photos that exaggerate the tire size from a low angle etc. These ones pretty much show you what you are getting with 31(.6)s and a small lift.

Looks great, I appreciate it. Really debating between skinnies and sticking with the 31’s, settled on the lift. Your topper is awesome by the way!

Thanks. I’ve never regretted it. Very handy always. Especially if it rains a lot where you live.

If you get a canopy/topper, get the side opening doors or “windoors”. They change everything. No climbing in the back to get to the front.

I’d go for windoors for sure, what make and model is your topper?

It’s a Century “Ultra” series. We have good luck with these at my work. They seem to be the most leak-proof due to them having “framed windows” as opposed to flush “suv style” windows. They also have rain gutters. The Ultra line is kinda an old-school topper that might look a bit less sleek than other options, but the quality is there. Century makes a very good product.

I purposely got no sliding windows or bump-out windows as I have a real paranoia about leaky canopies based on past traumas. I just want solid glass. My front-side window is removable for cleaning but is a solid piece of glass as well. I can’t stand it when the stuff in the back gets wet. This set-up stays bone dry. This windoors don’t leak.

So far just a bed mat and a lighter wallet
Have you ever slipped a bead with that set up
How does that tire bead stay on? You need some curb feelers to. Nice color truck

Little late to the party, but about how much did you spend on this topper? Wanting to save over the next year and get one next spring.

I spent about $1900 USD, for the build I have (carpeted interior, with Thule roof rails, Thule roof bars, and opening side windoors), in 2017.

The canopy is still going strong. No issues at all and no plan to get rid of it.

Thanks for the info. Glad to hear it’s still doing what it should be.

I’m new to Tacoma World, but I find it strange to me that people are actually spending time on the semantics of calling these tires “31’s”, “32’s”, or “31.62’s”.

    Some nice looking rigs though.

Yeah. It’s seen lots of FSR miles and been to the Arctic and back. Every once a while you gotta torque the mounting bolts, but no other issues. Paint has held up, and no leaks.

I just got these Bridgestone 245/75/17s mounted last weekend. They came stock on my brother's 2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport. When he installed his lift and new tires/wheels, he gave them to me. I've always liked the look of a narrow tire on trucks and these 31s were perfect.

I run 285/70/R17 Load range C with a 2” Procomp leveling kit, and don’t have any rub issues, and they don’t ride stiff like the Load range E that I had previously.

Surprisingly no I’m not. It did require some trimming on be back portion of the front inner liners near the A post though.
