Leather seats?

Has anyone had their seats converted to leather in their Tacoma? I got a price today of $1200 to do the front and back seats along with the small cloth area on the doors. I like leather and it is much easier to keep clean.

 

Just got Katzkin leather with seat heaters installed for $1,500 in my Access Cab

Several links here on TW can get you the leather for about $600-700, but for me I'd rather not goof with the install. Much more important things to do on weekends.

 

Just got my Katskinz last month, $1300....couldn't be happier.

I worked the leather in the overall deal for my Tacoma. Its darker than the standard light grey and in the sunlight it matches up to the dark gray on the door panel above it. The fluorescent lights in the garage seem to wash it out in the pics.

Black Sheep, Where did you get that price? I'm looking at leather and I have a price of 1695 leather seats with heaters installed from CST in McKees Rocks.

I have dark grey leather

 

Black leather katzkins in mine. Did it myself for about $700. $675 shipped for the leather + spray adhesive + hog ring pliers & hog rings.

I agree with you that leather is much easier to keep clean. I love mine.

 

Jeff, I know Terry Poe's shop on McNielly Rd. He used to do alot of work for the various car dealers around. Yes 1695 is alot of money. I'm going down to CST tomorrow and check out their shop and prices.

I did the same thing. 2 tone katzkin. It makes the seats more comfortable and looks better

Check out Team Nutz on Rt. 88. That is where I am having my new Sony head unit installed next week. He told me that he could beat the $1200 and that was with 2-tone and stitching. The heaters would be more, but that is a good idea there. I might just have to with the heaters also.

 

Did you check out Audio Workx on 51. They did my head unit. Their work is excellent and guaranteed. I have talked to them about the leather interior. At the time I was not ready, they told me to stop down and they would give me a price. I would recommend the heaters for the seats.
