vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

Hit the toolbar button in vF that looks like a target. That will bring up the Flash Tool. In there, hit Identify.

You're most likely 04B90.

So did everyone get their tune packs yesterday or are some people still waiting? I didn't get anything yet. I have the master key and reg file for VF tuner from my dongle trade in, not sure if there's another step I'm missing to request the tune pack? Not in a big hurry, just don't want to miss something

 

OVT asked that folks Zendesk him their ECU versions for the Tune Pack that they want.

 

ohhh i guess I don't have that. I just have my master key and that's it. My account on the software says I have 5 tokens available. so I need ovtune to send me my .reg file?

 

Nothing yet on my end, but I also sent an email requesting a different tune pack that won't be available until at least Friday.

 

The Credits can be used now to unlock the ECU, but I would wait to verify the ECU just in case. Toyota can change them on the assembly line at any point.

You can use the OBD Fusion or Carista apps to identify, if you got those. Otherwise, yes, you need the REG file. You should have received some instructions about how to request the REG file with your vF order?

 

Gotcha thanks, I didn't want to blow up zendesk with unnecessary requests if that's not what he wanted, but I'll go ahead and send one in. I'm also wanting to hold out for 04B14

@OVTune for tune packs for 04B04, and all other ecus that haven't been released yet, should we send an email for which ECU we are requesting now or wait until it is released?

 

I'm trying to put this together to figure out how to get the maximum 14.7v. Helpppp

Edit -i was able to see like 14.3v when making a couple changes - upping the duty to 102.35% and the base phase duty to 93. i'm afraid to go further without better help

 

For you guys who have 04B13, upgrading to 04B14, if you want edit ability in vF and have already unlocked your 04B13 ECU, you'll need to purchase additional vF credits to do so, here:

Is anyone still waiting on their master key? I was told last week by ov that he couldn’t verify I was a flash kit user and asked that I send him my original flash kit order info. I sent it in that night but I’m still waiting for a reply

Just in case, you can create an account on the OVT website. If you use the email address that you ordered with, you can get order histories for all purchases.

 

I control master keys.
only reg key is is by outside.
But that won't be for much longer hopefully.
Then the process gets really quick.
