Oh I got it all right. Bent my sliders, rear driver bedside and front BAMF 1/4 steel ifs skid. John Bull is a bit much for a rig with 1 1/2” front and 2” rear lift on 285/75/16 Tires. Although my bedside wouldn’t have bent if my cbi rear bumper did its job and didn’t deflect and hit the bed.

Most of these roads are around Dolly Sods and surrounding areas. The creek crossing is actually right at Seneca there is normally a bridge there but there was so much rain this spring it got washed out!

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Over 200 miles yesterday to get in a day of fishing. One of my several remote secret lakes. Fished here 15 trips over last 30 years, only twice have I seen another fisherman. Have yet to see another truck in all that time. Took a wrong turn, and ended up taking an old defunct trail in I used 30 years ago. That part not fun, pretty dangerous. No pics of that, I was sweating pretty good and I've done this about 700 times now over the last 35+ years with the Taco being my 4th 4x4. A series of bottom dragging deep washouts and 1 - 6 inches clearance on either side of truck, tops. About 2 miles of that, then back onto a nice 4x4 trail. That last part is a nice 4x4 road through marshy swampland and thinner forest. Can't get over 5mph on that road as it's beat, but better to enjoy the scenery.

Have to inspect bottom of truck this morning to make sure all is one piece, took some hard frame hits. About 300 pounds of mud to get off first, undercarriage coated thick. Weather turned to crap at end of day, heavy thunderstorm, heavy rain and hail. Temperature dipped from 60F to 38F when a storm hit in the late afternoon. Lucky to get my fishing in first, but roads were shit getting back out.

All worth it though. Beautiful first half of day, great spot to fish. Pulled in and released 9 trout. Two eagles put on a great show by the boat, diving down to skim the lake for trout. They did that about 20 times, and pulled out 4 trout as the fish were feeding on a lake surface hatch. Their nest was up high and next to the shoreline. No shortage of food for them.
