Bet yer tires are NOT all torqued to spec.....hehehe

    Got ya thinking, eh..?

My dealer (old man on torque wrench) wasn't sure how to do mine so he gave me 73lbs/75/135/106/94/124.... that's fun to take the time to check but I couldn't believe it...He torqued them around clockwise from 1 to 6 twice.....

I told the service guy and said "you need better help".. So long.

I’m thinking it was a one and done experience. The amount of work it took to check their work was as others said. May as well just do the oil change yourself. I’ll be switching up to amsoil signature next change and installing an ez drain plug switch and eat the “free” oil change.

I havent had my Tacoma for 6 months yet but with my previous vehicle which was a Subaru the service technicians did all this stuff to it:

    1. They scratched up my shifter knob when they were removing a defective infotainment unit/radio, on this same trip they also left a big scratch on my drivers side door and another scratch on the door handle on the back drivers side door. The dealership replaced the shifter knob but they didnt do anything about the scratches on the front and back drivers side doors because I didnt see them until I got home and saw the vehicle under direct sunlight (the vehicle pickup area was under a roofed area that wasnt very well lit).
    2. Ive had the service technicians scratch up the plastic pieces on the dashboard while their cleaning the vehicle on the inside for the free car wash.
    3. Ive had service technicians scratch up the rims and lug nuts when their doing tire rotations.
    4. Ive had service technicians touch the steering wheel with their hands dirty after an oil change and leave fingerprints on the steering wheel that were full of oil.

And thats not even counting the warranty issues that I had with my Subaru, its one of the reasons I sold it and got a Toyota. I would recommend taking pictures of your truck before taking it to the dealership so that you have proof if they damage anything on your truck when its being serviced and always skip the free car wash or ask them to only do an exterior car wash.

My Wife had a 2013 Subaru Legacy we bought brand new from the dealer. When the usb charger went out she brought it in for warranty and was denied by the first dealer in Walnut Creek CA. We took it to the dealer in Livermore CA and they covered it. They had to replace the entire head unit... They proceeded to scratch up about 4 different panels on the flawless dash. They ended up covering the fix for all the scratched up panels but boy what a headache. now that I think of it i'm not sure why i brought my truck in in the first place. I plan on keeping my vehicle as far away from the dealer as possible!

I had the Subaru dealership deny a warranty claim for me too, the paint on my Impreza Sedan was peeling off on the trunk where the rain water slides down on the little crevices and since the paint was peeling off it started to rust, the Subaru dealership where I purchased my car said that it wasnt covered under their 3 year corrosion warranty because the paint peeling off and rusting was caused by "outside influences" even though it doesnt snow where I live (so no road salt to rust the vehicle) and I had never taken the car to the beach. I never thought about taking it to a second dealership for a second opinion though because the Subaru dealership told me that it was the determination of Subaru of America not the dealership itself.

I highly recommend taking pictures of your vehicle before getting it serviced at any dealership, take pictures of the inside and the outside. I plan on getting my truck wrapped in paint protection film before taking it for its first 6 month service at the dealership, I want to at least get all the doors wrapped in PPF (Paint Protection Film) to protect them against scratches on the paint.
