hey i made a Florida spotting thread...i wanna c if anyones spotted other tacos(well atleast pics of other ppl tacos)

 

The wrangler is my stepdad's. If it were mine I would definitely keep it.

 

As much as I love the 80's I think for a dd it's not ideal. Lousy gas mileage and slow. Also they are older, although reliable I bet there will be little things that come up. Also to get into a 100 series for about your price would be 100k+ miles. I think a 4 runner or 1st gen would be the best out of those.

I know it's 2wd but this isn't a bad deal for the milage

Looks Badass Jason, cant wait to see it with some tires on it. Also, it would be wise to never tell me where you live or you may wake up to a truck missing a few bumpers lol

 

Don't even think about it. plus you better bring a buddy along or I'll wake up to you on my driveway immobilized with a bumper on your stomach.

 

Looks HOTT. Can't wait to see it with meats on it.

Not gonna be able to shell out the $$ for armor until the tax return shows up

Edit: Also, these pics do a great job of showing how incredibly inadequate the stock tires are for these trucks. Once you get some space between them, you realize how big the truck is and how big the tires aren't.

Toyota needs to do better. 265/70 worked for the 1st gens because they were smaller trucks. They don't cut it on these 2nd gens.

 

haha. Thanks. Tires will go onto it soon. Right now I'm doing research for putting it under the knife(body mount chop).

i was quoted for bilsteins $140 a piece per front shock and $100 per rear shock and $140 install...install not bad for install but shock price too damn much

 

So you decided you are going to wheel it? Maybe go for some sliders instead of the nerf bars
