Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
High traction surfaces (such as the slickrock in Utah) and some throttle, especially with a locker, is really hard on CV's no matter what the lift is. If you're going to do that sort of wheeling carry a spare and learn how to change it.

@boston23 this ^^^ I’ve been “lifted” for 9 years and haven’t had issues caused by cv angle at ride height. Rock crawling on big tires and running over bushes that rear the boots on the other hand... Yes if you are going to do more serious off roading I would carry a spare and the necessary tools to change it on the trail.

Hey @Downsouth Motorsports any additional savings on ordering 2 complete mid travel kits? Got a neighbor with a 2019 that wants me to help him with suspension and a buddy with a 2013. Gonna try to convince them both to just order everything at once and didn’t know if you could throw any additional discounts to help give them some more incentive?

    Thanks

Does anyone have dual shock mid travel? Care to share info about the secondary shock? I will be doing this next year probably.

Thank you. I have some PMs out to a couple vendors. I wasnt sure about triple or dual bypass shocks. I also think that the prices listed on most sites are for each, and not for a pair? aka ~$785 that I saw somewhere..

nice- I will look that up later on when I get home.
    Q. What wheels are you running? Are you going to use a spacer?
I have some rubbing on full lock at the second shock mount on LCA. Currently I am using a 1.5 spidertrax. May have to go to 2inch or a new set of wheels if the 2 inch does not correct the issue.

I have SCS F5 16x8 -25/3.5BS and 315s. I emailed Total Chaos and they said:

    Good morning David,

Thank you for your inquiry with TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication Inc. With that low
of a backspacing you can probably get away without a wheel spacer and still
clear the secondary shock mount on the LCA's at full lock turn. Typical
    aftermarket 16"x8" wheels have a 4.50" BS which requires adding a 1.25"
wheel spacer to clear (this effectively results in a wheel with a 3.25" BS).
At 3.5" BS you are going to be right there for proper clearance without
having to add a spacer. Make sure to cycle everything during the install to
    confirm.

These 8 inch straps are part of my plan. Thinking in the front.

Looks great. JSYK You need to get some paint or sealer on that spacer as it will rust.
