Hey guys, been following this thread and have ordered a few parts in preparation to do the OF to Pro grille swap. I tried to order through Sparks with no luck; they sent me an email asking for a VIN from a Pro. I provided one from a Pro and was then subsequently denied. Are you guys aware of any other sources of Pro OEM grilles? TIA!

Depends if the vin was from a new or used 2020 pro. I tried sparks with a new vin and they shut me down. Found a used vin in my state and ordered from a local dealer online

And the dealer said toyota only allocates 1 grille every 6 months for a specific vin or something like that. So that might also affect your chance at getting one using a specific vin.

That's good to know. I used a VIN from a dealer website selling used Tacos. I'll have to try a local dealer and see how that works out for me. Thanks again for the info!

Right I missed the fact that shipping would be extra. If it helps I got mine through Lowe Toyota online. Just entered a VIN I had found online for a 2020 pro.

Well that just looks sexy. What garnish did you end up using?

The Taco Garage garnish. Cut the sport grill camera bracket in half basically and it ends up fitting perfect in the trd grill.

Nice, I've ordered one from Amazon on recommendation from one of the guys in this thread. I'll install once I get around to ordering the grill. I'm sure the OR grille camera bracket is the same; you just cut the top portion off and remove the housing and it should drop right in. We shall see...

I'm from Tucson, Yuma is too sandy for me!

I'm in Tucson often. It's a little too ridiculous in Yuma to stay here all the time lol

Its been a while since I checked in on this. Has anyone started making camera brackets for the Pro Grille yet or is everyone still cutting their old brackets to fit.

Yup, that seems like the best way forward.

Thanks for the update. I'm a little surprised, it seems like it would be a fairly popular item.

Maybe something like this will help? https://www.yotaleds.com/product/tacoma-3rd-gen-trdpro-grille-bracket/ I'm installing an aftermarket front camera with my aftermarket headunit and hopefully this would work with the Nakita camera I purchased. :fingerscrossed:

Was talking with my brother this afternoon and he is going to take a crack at 3D printing a pro camera mounting bracket. Luckily I have the 2020 pro grille for him to use to develop the bracket for relocating the camera.

I told him there would probably be some interested people on here if he does a nice job.
