Awesome, thanks! It's hard keeping up with some of these threads sometimes. If I go a few days without checking them I have to read through 10-20 new pages

Fwiw I just ran b14 stock (only modification I made was to the alternator) and it felt pretty good. Idk I can't tell you exactly what was different but the throttle response seemed a bit smoother. That initial lag until like 3,500 rpm is still there. Driving around in traffic in 1st seemed more doable.

I already miss the throttle response in superfob

    Good info.

That SFOB torque hit at idle is magic.

I’ve put about 150 miles on my 2.0 SFOB premium. It’s noticeably better than the 2.0 I was running from FM. Power wise I can’t really tell a difference but it’s much smoother, honestly the way I hoped my new Tacoma would drive. I switched from a 2012 OR and honestly wasn’t satisfied with the way my new truck drove until I finally got my ecu updated. Thanks to this new tune, for those wondering I’m 04A71 but I’m super happy with the way it drives now. Great job OVTune, can’t speak you AT guys but if your on the fence with a MT you won’t regret it.

I'm in the 04B14 gang now. Stock is not a place that I want to be for long.

Only 10mi, so I won't say too much other than the SFOB torque is missed. It does feel like it will be a great basis for 2.0.

I think it is better than 04B13 in a few areas, but this motor shines on SFOB.

How do you like SFOB even when driving around in city? Too peppy?

How about compared to highway? What have you seen w/ MPG when you had SFOB on 04b13?

FOB and SFOB were killer in town, on the highway, and off road. It is just a perfect fit for the Taco.

Some folks feel that it might be a bit too responsive, but you have a ton of options as octane and Base will give you several different feels to the tune.

Try them all for a few tanks.

I'll PM you my MPG story tomorrow. In the end, my best MPG have been on FOB / SFOB in the 21mpg region.

I honestly can't explain the big MPG variation, but OV Tunes typically give you a bump.

Hopefully you guys get to see that with yours.

I was going to say, that is the only reason I can see it. I have to try to get below 16

Absolutely! Before I tuned I was around 10.8 mpg 2.0 beta got me around 12.3 now 2.0 sfob has me at a steady 14.5. The ability to use the lower rpm range gave me a huge boost in mpg

Haha yeah it doesn’t help that I live in the mountains either, not much flat ground around here.

My MT stock untuned 2019 TRD Sport with about 1400 miles on it gets between 18-21 MPG so I probably won't see any improvement when I finally get vftuner and flash for the alternator voltage increase on the AGM battery charge. Getting excited!

Only on the way down. Nice momentum in those big tires, they cruise amazing I’ll bet
