Might have missed that plane....not really, but it was a steal at $11.50 a month ago..I just had so many choices and limited amount of money. I saw more upside in NAIL, DFEN and NRGU...I'm getting close to punching out of NAIL. I think it's topping out on rapid gains and tapering to a slow and steady. JETS isn't leverage so if the underlying assets rapidly recover there's not loss of ceiling..it would go right back to $30...So if I don't think NAIL can go to $60 in the next year (which I don't) I should divest and get into JETS or DFEN...I've also been looking at DPST a 3x BULL Banking ETF. A LOT of the underlying assets are at 66-70% recovery. If you think they will recover, but do so slowly...it's again another nice play. It was trading at $515 pre-covid. The bizarre thing about the 3x bulls is they are like the Coastline Paradox...When you measure a coastline it can essentially be infinite in length depending on how far you zoom in to measure. Because the Bulls are 3x gains...as long as the stocks go up even a tiny bit the leverage keeps magnifying and is only limited by the # of trading days in a year...

    How you should invest: ^

How I invest: hehe if NAIL go up I keeps. If NAIL go down I sell

Well...yes...but there's also the potential upside limit and the speed of return on investment...If NAIL is trading at $31 has a 6 month of $40 and 5 year of $90 and JETS is at $15 and has a 6 month of $30 and a 5 year of $40...I'm jumping into JETS short term. I'm looking to build capital to invest in dividend and blue chips long term. Maybe exercise long calls when they are wayyy in the money. (FINGERS CROSSED FOR DIS being over $135 JAN 2022)

FYI The $500 price on DPST includes a 1:10 reverse, so present share of $80 is $8 pre-covid on a $50 max

Sounds like we both have similar plans. Currently I'm a trader. In 10 years, provided I can make what I project, I will switch over to an investor. I've got 19 years until I plan on retiring and I want those last 9 years to be stress free.

Yeah..I have a 401K. My TD account is just what I do with my bonuses from work...but no 1Q bonus this year because of revenue fears from some kind of virus thingy? We still did fairly decent so there's talk of 2x up the next bonus...This is the first quarterly bonus we've not been paid since like Q3 2012...and that one they made up for by 2x our Q4 christmas bonus..I tell everyone at work to invest their bonuses, don't spend it on crap...It's money not in your budget.

I'm making up for lost time. I didn't start my IRA until I was 39. I've got about the same amount now as most people who "invest" would have had if they started at 28. It's been stressful at times but I like thinking I'm smart enough to beat the market. Which I have but I'm really in idiot for starting so late. lol

When you guys where talking about retirement plans earlier I was at work and couldn't reply. Mines pretty sweet if I can swing it which I think we can. My wife is Australian by birth. She's has dual citizenship but her folks still live in Melbourne suburbs. We've visit as often as we can, usually at least once a year, and I like Oz better then the US. So the current plan is to get a small house there up in the Blue Mt's outside of Sydney within the next 10 years. Then retire and sell our current house in CA and move to Nevada. We'll spend 6 months in the US and 6 months in Oz. The beauty of this is that they are southern hemisphere. So not only would I have warm temps year round but it would be summer year round. I'd never see a day with less then 10 hours of daylight. If we can swing this I will be one happy retiree.

maybe for the non-retirement money. The boss wants us sticking with vanguard.
