And did that ultra gauge come out of the box reading trans temp or did you have to program some kind of code on it? Will be ordering one in the next few days.

I was looking for your spare tire mount thread and came across this too. Your pics the other day had me really wanting to mount my tire like yours. Just looks so sexy with an open bed.

 

Agree completely and I’m happy to report that for over a year now, with DD and hard trail use (and a TON of washboard high vibration road traveling) the spare/jack setup has not budged or given me any grief. It’s great.

 

Been very unhappy with seating position in this truck since I purchased it so I finally splurged on a $100 pair of machined seat risers. So far - this was a very good change but I haven’t done any long drives in it yet. Thanks @desert does it

 

Per the ultragauge, for speedometer/odometer corrections is it a % correction?

I sware I asked this here before but cant find it.

Also for ultragauge does it have a mileage/trip report that does not reset? Meaning after I correct the speedometer readings through the unit, it could store the miles traveled and not reset each day or when the truck sits overnight? I'm looking for a odometer over longer periods of time like 500-5k miles.

I'm reading the scangauge manual and the TRIP function states that after being off for 8 plus hours it moves miles traveled to previous day and the following day deletes it from previous day. At least that's my interpretation and it wouldn't accomplish what I need I think.

Side note - driving with my 4.88s for the first time in the morning

None at all. My brakes work great! Someday I’ll do some nicer rotors and pads but nothing else is done
