Nice, you'll have to report back if they are worth the premium cost.

Ah, ok. I hope you enjoy the get away.

Here's my unsolicited advice. I'm on marriage #2. Made it 10 years with ex-wife. We have a daughter together and having a child together made it VERY tough. I encourage folks regularly to really try to make it work when kids are involved. Go to a marriage conference. I went to a marriage conference with Tonya(wife #2) and recall feeling that if exwife and I had attended something like that, it might have made the difference. However, I'm on marriage #2 now, 12 years strong (so glad I'm not married to W#1). Our toughest challenge has been that we parent very differently(we each have a daughter). But the girls are both married off and we are happy. Moral of the story, if you have kids try to make it work. If you can't make it work, hopefully the right lady will come along. When you find her and you have problems because you parent differently, realize that the kids won't always be there. :bananadance: This brings me to the last piece of advise, don't plan your whole marriage around your kids, when they grow up and depart the house, remember you still have to make things work with the wife. ;)

Just checking in - if anyone around Huntsville sees a 2009+ Doublecab Off Road for sale...I'm a-looking. Looking all over the country actually, but i have bitniss around Madison so wouldn't mind picking up a truck down that area to help me facilitate that bitness :)

Doesn't matter. But I prefer not-too-new. Would love to spend 17k max. But i can stretch that if the truck is already built and I don't need to do anything. By 'built' i mean, something like OME lift, decent tires and that's about it. :) And if it's not an Off-Road, prefer one with a locker of some-sort. I'm looking for a solid truck for mostly forest roads and some mud and some rocks - but generally as a truck to carry a RTT and me and my dogs out to un-plug in the mountains.

haha, my truck is neither economical, nor quiet. reliable it is though.

no worries, like I said it's not really "for sale".....but I don't use it much anymore and would entertain the idea..

yessir. My car gets 17 in town. 20 on the highway. Sound familiar to most stock tacomas? :) Yeah - I just think It'd take a screaming good deal, but I'd never use that truck to its capability.
