A tad more, but I got him to throw in his brand new tail pipe too.

Do you need to do anything to beef up the rear suspension to carry the extra weight of the swingout and steel bumper?

I may have to switch out the rear Springs. Without the swing out the bumper alone didn't make a difference in height. Joe said the swing out is a additional 60lbs, wait and see how it looks & rides after its installed. I was surprised how heavy the OEM bumper & bracket assembly and hitch was.

Well, 60 lbs plus the weight of the tire and wheel and then if you're getting the jerry can holder, or a dual holder. A dual with two 5 gal cans would be an additional 60 lbs minimum. Total weight starts to approach around 250 lbs or more depending on the tire/wheel combo, and metal vs plastic jerry cans. In my case, add the cap and I will have close to 400+ lbs static.

No jerry cans. I have a 5th SCS F5 for my spare, rim weighs 19lbs. I originally told Joe that I wasn't interested in the swing out because I was concerned about weight but he gave me such a great deal on the whole assembly I figured I would throw it on the bumper to see how I like it. If I don't like it I'll take the swing out off and mount my spare back in the OEM carrier and just keep the bumper on. I needed a rear bumper because mine had a rust hole. Plus my truck looked funny to me with a Offroad bumper on the front and a rusty stock one on the rear.

Is it a dual or single swingout? I'm a fan of either. I'm definitely not putting my spare under or in the bed. Well, I will have to put it in the bed until I can afford a rear bumper but eventually.........

That's the size I have on my lifted Landcruiser, but not on my 4runner.

Hey guys, so I just changed the battery in my fob and slowly, my range has been diminishing. I now have to be right next to the truck to unlock it and it's quite annoying. Any idea why this is happening? Anyone else run into this?

Bad battery? Try another, or a different brand.

If it was bad, my truck would tell me it's low again, but I don't have anything telling me. I'll try swapping with a Duracell or something. It's super annoying cause now my auto-unlock when I touch the handle hardly works too.
