Question: I have the SFOB premium on my 2019 manual, and will be towing a 4,000lb trailer through Colorado. They only have 91 there, will I have any problems with spark knock, or should I carry some octane booster?

I'm trying to get my .REG file, but OVtune says they need my system ID. How do you get your system ID without your .REG file? I'm so confused on this stuff.

Just open the Flash Tool. It will show your System ID in the window (ignore the grayed out buttons). The System ID is of your tuning computer only, not your Taco.

This is from the OG Flash Kit Instructions, but similar in vF:

The same way you got your ECU rev.

i'm also having this issue. there is no Toyota Flash Tool in vF here. all options are greyed out except Open, Open CSV, and Download. and those do nothing. also, not sure i'm current. i had 1.0.0.0.12 installed, saw a mention of 1.0.0.0.13 and went to DL from ovtuned.com, and the DL was 1.0.0.0.11... now i'm super confused. ticket in with Rafael but no instructions are making sense.

Several buttons will be grey until you open a file.
Click the GREY COG icon in vF Tuner, under "window" and it will open the flash tool.
you do not have to be current to open the flash tool.

I don't know if the OVT site is updated, but this was the latest version posted:
The Flash Tool only shows up in the vF toolbar as the gray cog symbol.

That is what I am seeing in the Help / About menu. So, you're good to go.

    Is your Flash Tool solid?

The gray cog in the toolbar under here is the Flash Tool.

    upload_2020-6-4_9-24-25.jpg

You need to unlock an ECU and Open it to ungray those menus.

That map having Octane Learning doesn't even matter. He'd be fine anyway because he said he's running a Premium fuel map, he said they'll only have Premium fuel, and 91 is Premium. Lol

Has anyone been able to dial into 14.7V output on the alternator yet? Closest i could get to was 14.3v yesterday raising the base phase duty to 93 from 30 up and upping the Duty percent to 102%... I don't want to push things too far - any help would be appreciated.
