That's a good idea too. My in-laws do a lootttt of sailing, and my wife mentioned her mom sews their sails sometimes, so I'm going to talk to her too. Would be great as it would save some money.

I've installed a few sets of those power steps and repaired a few sets of them that other people installed.

Sorry about the tire slippage leaving your house. I have the pedal commander cranked up a bit and those old tires E rated tires are a little hard.

@EatSleepTacos is gonna have to walk in and order his Chik Fil A like a plebe. What's the point of having chopped doors and a bobbed bed if you can't show 'em off to the kid workin the window.

Speaking of bob and CFA. I went through the drive thru last night and my locker unlocked with a nice bang as I was pulling away from the nice girl taking my order. Oh man the looks I got.

Still needs a cup holder. Or better yet, a rectangular slot to hold your waffle fries.

Got my front end just about done, just need the winch now. Think the guys who installed might have rotated my drivers side fog 90 degrees, because it's blinding standing in front of the truck while the passenger side seems fine. Gonna check the cutoff later tonight just to make sure, and if so take it back in since I live alone and don't have anyone to help me remove either bumper safely without damaging. Anyone have the SS3 Sport with the Fog Pattern who can verify the drivers side shouldn't be blinding? or that is actually is?

    For those curious:

Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport Fog pattern
    Relentless Fab Stinger Bumper
    Some no-name light bar
raptor lights and pro grille from TAG

That is some hard core mall crawling if you use your locker for the drive threw!

It's a lunchbox locker, so it engages and disengages (loudly sometimes) automatically. The idea behind it is when under throttle, it locks. When not under power and going around a corner, it unlocks. It works great for the most part, just a little noisy sometimes. That's normal though. Benefit to that style locker is inexpensive, and I was able to install it myself. And never need to worry about it engaging due to failed air line, or wiring harness or whatever.

To compliment the kicker cs I did the Subaru tweeter mod...holy crap my non jbl never sounded so good. I can only imagine with a new head unit. It’s only a matter of swapping two wires in the connector and shaving it down to fit the tweeters.

Have you heard about anyone using these in the front diff? Seems like a great application for it

The way our fog light mounts are, you can install it right side up or upside down. I don't see how you could install one 90* off without fabbing a new bracket. I 'd bet your cutoff suspicions will prove true.

No, and I wouldn't either. With these IFS trucks you have to be careful with a front locker offroad. Steering, in 4wd, while locked is a recipe for disaster. So when in 4wd with a lunchbox, you'd essentially always be locked. That's part of why I didn't put an ARB in my front, and partially cost. I'm still open and just winch whenever I can't get over something.
