So currently I have a red dot but plan to run an optic in the near future, hence the offset. I really like the Troy units and think I'll go that way. Probably get the standard for now. When I change I'll deal with it then.

    Thanks fellas

@snowsk8air2 Just wanted to let you know my wife got the Sequoia home safely without issue. I started draining the radiator this morning, got it 80% unhooked. It's hot, I'll finish it tomorrow morning.

Thank you again for your help.

Any gunshows worth going to out by Prescott, Williams? Or is Phoenix one better?

Glad she made it home. And yeah, I can’t imagine working on vehicles down in the valley in the summer. I’m complaining about the heat up here when it’s in the upper 80’s

I went back out and swapped it. Then jumped in the pool!
I just need to grab coolant.

You get use to it, you never like it, but you do get use to it. Same way you can get use to the cold.

there is a chance my wife might get offered a permanent spot in Flagstaff. I would love to move back there. I hate the heat! Although I am not going to get my hopes up.

Hey everyone, I'm looking to have a transmission cooler installed on my 2016 Tacoma. Didn't come with the tow package and I now find myself doing a lot of towing so I'm playing catch up. Need to tow a 4 seat RZR up north and I'm hesitant to do so without one.

Anyone have any shop recommendations to have a cooler added? I'm located in NE Mesa

Nice I'll give Will a call.

We also have a 2018 4runner. I don't see a trans cooler on it, but from what I'm reading it's not something the 4runner comes from the factory with. Trying to figure out if we need one or not for that truck as well.

If you need this done asap and have the trailer I don't mind towing it for you. I need to break in the truck some more while it's new. I might be busy this weekend but next weekend I should be free.

Thanks for the offer. We are headed up camping this weekend. Going to give it a shot without the cooler and hope no lights show up on the dash. Been doing research and haven't seen any complaints of the transmissions overheating on 3rd gens.

Just take it slow and don't run the a/c. I see people hauling toy haulers trying to do 80 on some of the climbs all the time. Then I pass them broken down. You should be fine.

Keep it out of overdrive. What kills the transmission is when it's hunting for or rowing the gears

Also worth noting that there’s an integrated transmission cooler in the radiator so it’s not like you have *no* cooler, but obviously it’s limited to what it can do inside the drivers side end tank.

Cool thanks for the responses guys. Had I realized it would be this much of a pain to get the truck ready for towing I'd have gotten the towing option when I bought it. No wonder they made it standard now. I don't even have the plug for a brake controller... :annoyed:

Quick question for you guys. I’m looking at some ome leaf springs someone is selling for a 1st gen, both are p/n end in RB (passenger) one is a (+) and the other is a (-). Checked arb and part number shows up as passenger, the guys telling me it’ll fit either side? I wanna say it won’t but not sure, any insight?
