Bronco sounding pretty good, going to be interesting to see what it actually is when it comes out.

It'll be worth looking at after it releases with what engine it comes with and that we know if transmission grenades itself or not.

Ford loves their 2.0L engine - so the base model will most likely come with that or the dinkly little dinky 2.3L from the Ford Ranger (which Ford just recalled 20,000 of them just yesterday for transmission issues) for the first year of release with no other options. until the next model year - then you could get the nicer 2.5L that the ranger has.

    :pccoffee:

not saying the tiny 2.0 is garbage - it's a great econobox engine, but if it's released as an option - i'll start saying my Ford Escape is just as capable as the new Bronco.
I also cannot trust a ford transmission anymore... Biased since mine fragged itself

I wouldn't be surprised that's the case. Ford could just slap the "Bronco" name on anything and people will buy it.

They did steal my dual e-brake idea, can be seen in video one wheel getting locked at turn. :angrygirl:

I bet 35s can be fitted with minimum work on those...

Probably an electronic "turn assist" feature like Land Cruisers have. Based on earlier spy shots there will be trim levels with two stock tire sizes. 32 on the base trim and a "Bronco Raptor" with 34s and rock sliders:

Ford uses bolt-on frame horns to protect against tire intrusion in a crash, whereas Toyota uses beefy cab mounts. Easy enough to unbolt the horns to fit larger tires.

Rear is 4-link solid axle with track bar: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2020-ford-bronco.418507/page-6#post-22523928

IFS according to the 1st link.

The Bronco frame rails hang low, about the same height as the IFS crossmember.

Sounds like toyota needs to quit screwing around and just come out with a acsb and get in the short wheelbase game

You mean like the SEMA concept from 14 years ago? :) With or without the 4.7L V8?

The photos are so old, they're attachments #42 and #43 on this site, respectively.

Up in North Bay we have had Rain > Sun > Rain > Sun

I think this weather is just like steroids and viagra for the bugs. They are huge and so so so many of them. :annoyed:
