Man i dont get the new fashion sense with guys. Why the fuck does almost everyone wear ugly ass short skinny jeans and dumb ass long skinny shoes. What the fuck is happening?! Isnt that super uncomfortable, if you have balls?
I see it on tv and the streets all the time and just shake my head... Wife watches the bachelor and the shit they are wearing there just blows my mind.

Anyways, sorry for the rant guys, back to the rugged looking hilux.

Rugged in the sense of "you'll look disheveled after the working man throws you into a bush on his way to the pub."

    0-62mph in 10 seconds

    a 2018 4x4 Offroad does a 0-60mph in ~7.7 seconds.

that Hilux is a slow hog , but I bet its drivability(is this a word?) feels better

Yes, but great torque at low revs, much better for off roading. Toyota’s diesels are also legendary for reliability, I would still prefer it as an option, even with the DEF requirement.

I'm sure the def could be taken out.
There's still quite a few issues I would avoid personally but I dont think there's a chance in hell this comes over, but you never know

Only in America will your truck size directly correlate to your penis.

But seriously you could not drive more than half of the vehicles on the road in the US, in another country

I think Tacoma owners who want a Hilux are like 350z owners who want a Fair Lady or 240sx owners who want a Silvia or IS300 owners who want a Altezza or GTR owners who want a Skyline or Pontiac GTO owners who want a Holden or Mitsubishi 3000GT owners who want a GTO so on and so forth.

It is apt, but very poorly executed.

Just like the Taco Truck easter egg, I like the fun that they seem to be putting out there. Just a bit of a miss in the approach.

The dad joke of the auto world.

Toyotas diesels WERE legendary, back in the day. Now they are just ok.

During the 5th gen hilux days, those diesels were PRE emission, and without a fucking turbo. So yeah, you’ve basically omitted any failure points. The sacrifice was output. Based on the typical 3rd gen subforum engine output dissatisfaction, I’d say 90% couldn’t live with that diesel.
