That's my struggle. I have a two car garage and already need to get a shed for the lawn tractor, snowblower, ATV, etc. I would love a subcompact tractor (size of a John Deere 1 series) but when I look at the dimensions and the size shed I would need to build to later house one with everything else, I am not so sure I want to do that.

......so all this talk of new vehicles. Did an oil change tonight. Before the oil change I noticed a rough idle when warmed up. But nothing major. After oil change. Worse. Now throwing P0301 error code cylinder 1 misfire. The damn truck has 6k miles on it.

anyway I’m going to be making an appointment with a different Toyota dealer from my previous experience asap. Oh joy.

Feel like I'm in a movie. Being told there's an 8pm curfew and military helicopters are buzzing around pretty low on my neighborhood.

Space is a non-issue. I want something fun to drive with four seats to take the kids but I don’t want to give up the two seat/open roof either.

Anyone in RI have issues getting an inspection with window tint? Thinking of doing driver and passenger front windows with 35% or so. I don’t want it to be so dark that I’ll draw attention but just enough to reduce some heat and block uv rays. But I DONT want to have to rip it out if it’ll fail the truck on a RI inspection. Thoughts?

It's not easy these days. Afaik, the person inspecting the vehicle logs into the system with a fingerprint, and it's all on camera now. Most aren't willing to risk their license.

Maybe if you show up with the windows down, they won't check :notsure:

I think I want something in the Evo / STi range. Awesome in theory, terrible in reality. Maybe Hype Rs will come down by then, though I doubt it. 2002 me would love the idea of owning a turbo VTEC Civic.

    Follow on. Good lord.

Driving to work this morning - no issues, but still had CEL. Reader was with me but doesn't work with iphones apparently, so at lunch I ran home to clear the code - no issues. Left home to drive back to work, truck was warmed up at this point...issues. But no new CEL yet after clearing it (probably just needs a few more cycles?)

Checked gas cap, will look at taking it on a road trip or something to clear out the gas and try new gas, fortunately I can pull that off Saturday - draining it down, I'll keep a Jerry can in case I push it a little too far into the red :p after that if it continues I'll be going back to Toyota (NOT the same dealer) on Monday.

Helped a neighbor doing some haying today, got about 260 bales. Do one section at a time as he is slowly getting older and its just him and his wife, this is the first year hes finally accepted my help...I think its because his wife didn't know I had offered before and she heard me this time and made him :smack:

I miss haying. It's miserable work, but it's enjoyably miserable somehow, if that makes sense, lol.

If course, that might just be a 20 year nostalgia filter talking.
Crap, now that I think about it, this summer actually does mark 20 years since I started tossing hay for a summer job at 16...

My cousin grew up haying and he Said the same thing. Distance makes the heart grow fonder and all that!

it wasn’t bad and it was enjoyable company. As a regular job tho I probably wouldn’t love it :anonymous:
