nice, I already have an AEM 320 in I plan to drop in. I am thinking of doing an external one still. Any issue running an external one with the 320?

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around these suggestions. I've seen a lot of weird crap but please tell me how a clogged fuel pump prefilter is going to cause rich issues where what is actually happening is it's starving the engine for fuel?

Injectors is a possibility if the pintle is allowing too much fuel to get out before they close, but if that was an issue that would imply that he has defective yellow injectors from right out of the box. You could even assume that Justin would be having an issue with an unpredictable injector duty cycle where what he should see, is not happening, where as up to this point he has not, at least he hadn't gone on the record about it yet.

All I'm saying is that fuel delivery issues making him go excessively rich sound a bit more on the unlikely side.

7 mpg sounds like garbage though and something is wrong for sure.

$158 RPM300 FloMax 300 Red Anodized 1/2" NPT Port Fuel Filter/Water Separator System

RPM300 filter.

 

Chevron with techron all the way! I also believe that the cheapo no name gas stations are garbage. You have an engine with a SC. I pay the extra to make sure I have quality premium fuel to burn

 

@nudavinci64 I'm a half hour south of San Mateo with an AT supercharged truck (2.8, walbro pump, etc). I'm getting ~13mpg with mixed driving here.

I fell a few pages behind but did you need assistance/comparison?

I got a dead af sensor. Same bank where the valve went bad. So ordered one and will be installing tomorrow. $186 my cost. Can’t catch a break lol.

 

Hey @nudavinci64 do you have access to a scanner? I want to see your STFTs as well as your LTFTs.

Well I have brand new FIC’s so I doubt that’s the issue. I am hoping the fuel pump is just not up for the task. if anything I expected the same but not that much worse.

 

If that’s the case wouldn’t I had seen the issue before the install? it was not gradual it’s been like that since first fill on SC. I figured it was wall the tune testing.
