Yep and when you get into effects/recording you can do the same thing with monitor speakers.
Thats basically what my home 2crate amps were used for most all of the time.

We didnt have all this computer/phone stuff back then.
Now you can out from your setup into two speakers and do the same thing.

Used to have to have a rack.
I had a gsp 21 legend that split two cables out for home.

Just learned the opening for Crazy Train. It's not at actual song playing speed, but I've got it memorized at least!

I hate doing this, largely because it seems so TuRD gen....but

Any of you cats have any experience on the PRS SE Custom series? I've been a PRS fan for decades, but the price tags >3K really pushed me away. But I'm such a slut for a sexy looking guitar, it's always been on my fantasy list. I've never even played one...i know that it's a quality instrument, that cannot be argued, and fit is on the archer not the arrow...

Now I've tripped over the PRS SE Customs that are not US built, so they are now in the entry level space @ ~1000 CDN and damn if they don't look pretty sweet as well.

    https://www.prsguitars.com/products/se/

Just wondering if there's any experience here. I have about 1400 in rolled coinage that I could cash in.

    Edit: spelling

What kind of music do you like to listen to/play?

I own a 2017 Gibson LP Standard, because I always idealized the LP as the beautiful, quality guitar that should be the thing that everyone wants, and it should sound perfect in every way.

I never thought about its tone matching the kind of music I enjoy playing or listening to. I did play it before I bought it, and I enjoyed the sound, but I find myself still wanting those tonal qualities that I find in the reggae/surfer/stoner rock space that I can't replicate with the LP, that I really need a strat to recreate. I really wish I had gone with a strat. I definitely enjoy my guitar, but if I could have done it differently, woulda got a strat.

Just consider that before blowing 3k+ on a guitar.

Duuuuude, I bought a 5 string Ibanez bass a few years back to get my start in bass playing after having played guitar for 15 years. I'd give both my kidneys to have a Music Man. Passafire (favorite band), their bassist plays one and he's a genius. So much tonal beauty comes out of those things.
