Don't jinx yourself, the questions are gonna start getting posted I want to order the rack for the cap, but it doesn't have a rail system so, I figured I'd bombard you with all that questioning once I'm ready to buy it I was also going to start asking all kinds of other questions, but I'll be patient and get the answers once its on the truck

 

You guys have excellent customer service and I wouldn’t want to ever interfere with that. I’ve honestly been extremely impressed with the communication and presence on the forum. Great company and will recommend every time.

Holy shit the bolts for my roof rack that go into gutter was a bitch. Lol the 2020’s have a foam tape that went over the little tape that covers the bolts. Had to remove that. Then I think I put too much silicone it was hard putting those bolts. Mainly the rear driver. I actually said fk it and hot the drill. Went in like butter. Just needed some ft.lbs lol

All in all about 4hrs to install the main bed rack and roof rack. Even got the rack on the roof by myself. Don’t ask how. Then about another hour to add my rotopax and light bar harness and fine tune.

I have a second-hand Leer cap that I have to get the paint matched, (hence the hold up) but it does not have any rail system on it. Do you have any recommendations on which to use with the Alpha eX. I've looked around at a few and have a simple system in my truck but I have no clue who made it, or if it will work (someone gave it to me at a meet), it doesn't look very secure just has 3m tape and a few screw locations.

 

stick with a brand name, yakima or thule are what we recommend.

The top part is for unlocking Maxtrax pins easier. But also a bottle opener.

 

@upTOPOverland_Drew just ran across you guys in my search for a new mid level bed rack. The design is definitely aggressive, looks sweet!! So now I’m so conflicted, was this close to pulling the trigger on a CBI rack. Now I don’t know what to do..

 

Still holding put for.RGB option, white for when its needed , and other colors as the situation dictates.
