they've screwed me over twice now. they won't get my business anymore either.

 

Yeah, they are disorganized. They charged me for the deavers and shipped me the bushings. Today they charged me for the bushings and the 3 day shipping (which I already received). They said they refunded me 40 bucks on shipping, but they did not. I'll call to square it up, but I'm done with them.

 

I’ll say I was disappointed for sure, but in the past this has never happened to me. Could be that the whole world is upside down. I’ll give them the benefit of doubt.

 

Good for you. Personally, I've seen enough TW users have issues with them I wont be giving them the benefit of the doubt. Sending your shit to the wrong adress, admitally forgetting to place my order until I called them, and Josh being screwed over 2x is enough proof for me there is at least one key piece of that machine that is disorganized. I hate working with disorganized/sloppy people. Hope you get your snorkels sooner than later and they cut you some kind of a deal for their mistake.

I wasn't going to post anything about my dissatisfaction with them, but when I saw your post it pushed me over that line.

 

Just placed an order with Low Range today for something and the rep was awesome. I call in orders for truck parts for some reason instead of ordering online and the guy that helped me was absolute class. Got me estimates for a couple different shipping methods (needed it to be expedited) quickly. Got my tracking number later this afternoon. Awesome service

Didn't I warn you? I've had issues with them THREE times! Never again.

 

I bought some brake lines from them and took forever to get here. That wheelers thread is also blowing up with people who got boned by shipping times.

 

I was trying to keep a schedule and they had 3 day shipping and no sales tax. My buddy was all set to help me install my BAMF hangers last weekend and they were going to get them to me in time. DSM was a little more expensive with tax. Yeah, I know, I should have listened.

 

@Dex__43 has been waiting for a few weeks for a u-bolt flip kit and +4 lines. He hasn't even been able to get an ETA.

 

I emailed and called like 20 minutes later and got an update lol

 

First, they never shipped my Super Bumps with my Dakar/bushing/bump/shim order. Argued with me for a while, and eventually checked the shipping weight to confirm. Then they shipped out slowest possible shipping.
Then they told me to install the shims backwards...
Then they took forever to ship my extended brake lines.
Then they waited like 2 weeks to even place the order with Deaver, which means it took forever for me to get my new springs. They ended up helping with the Dakar warranty, but they certainly didn't make that easy.

I will never do business with Wheelers again, and strongly suggest that nobody else here does.

 

Next time(if there is), just call Deavers directly and order from them. That’s how I did it.

Admittedly, I’ve never had an issue with Wheelers. I’ve placed four orders with them and everything was cake.

 

Now I feel really dumb. I didnt know that was even an option.

 

I knew it was an option, but for some reason I wanted to give small business a piece of the pie...

 

It’s okay. I always try and go directly to the source if I can.

Have you been to Deavers? It’s definitely a small business. There employees were taking a lunch break when I was there last. All of them sat at the picnic table and shared some papusas...

If anyone needs/wants anything from the Trail Gear family (Trail Gear, All Pro, Wheelers, Low Range Offroad) I'd suggest calling Matt at Recycled Toyotas in Fresno. He's an authorized dealer and you can save shipping if you go down and pick up from him.

I've gotten my All Pro sliders and All Pro Expo leafs along with Trail Gear frame re-inforcement plates and frame boxing plates and cross members from him. He's a good dude and has saved me some good cash.

@TacoJohn4x4 got front bumper, skids, sliders etc from Matt too, and was happy with the amount he saved.

 

Isn’t trail gear in fresno? Why not buy directly from them?
