Let’s see pics of the decked. Did you abandon the power outlet or move it?

Kept it with simply an extension cord and zip ties.

I read about his limited edition switchbacks in a different thread and he has them posted on his site under exterior lighting but have been greyed out for a long time. Last time he only made 25 pair I think:rolleyes: so the next ones might be hard to get your hands on:confused:
Odds are I’ll probably try and get em if I’m lucky and sell the ones I have. The new ones are supposed to be sequential amber (like the ones I have) and then switch to white DRL’s when not signaling:drool: but I think the install to the DRL’s is a bit complicated. If I’m not mistaken, they should be coming sometime this month if I remember correctly :headbang:

Make it rain. I would have gotten an old yoda with a flatbed for $5000, but that's just me.

I'd like the black interior trim pieces too but MESO might be introducing some Army Green pieces in what he calls Phase 2...not sure how long I'll want to hold out but I'd like to wait and see how it looks

I used car gurus to find mine. Endless searching to find mine but I got lucky w mine. Right timing I suppose. I doubt they’ll resume making 2020s as year us halfway through.

In a way, I kinda hope they stop making our 2020 AG (or 2020 in general.) that makes us a special breed.

so 285s with stock suspension can be done w/o any rubbing thus requiring trimming?! So it CAN be done.

I see quite a few YouTube vidz on this install. Which one did you go with? And you said it was fairly quick and simple to install?

Are you able to post video if it blinking with the front turn signals to see if it matches, etc?

    looks great!

I ordered a pop n kit from ktjo4x4 But haven’t installed yet. What makes the wiring difficult for you?
    Thanks

Idk how it couldn’t rub ever so slightly. I have 285/75/16 and had to do a teeny tiny trim to the front down by the mud flaps and then used the heat gun to push in the front just a bit. If it hasn’t rubbed yet, then I have no idea, maybe hasn't hit a bump hard enough yet.

I just watched the install video on the @MESO web site - the process is really simple. Popping the cover is the hardest part - I used a trim tool to get an edge to grab and that seemed to make it easier. I live out in the boonies with exceptionally slow internet speed so posting any video takes forever. Did you want to see the front and mirror blinking together? They look the same as the OEM except they are brighter - the OEM mirror flashers are not sequential, neither are these. Does that help?

JW but do you have a better photo of the side and maybe in daylight? I'm debating about picking up some 4runner PRO wheels

Apologies, but looks like the dealer at instal did have to remove the mud flaps for there to be no rubbing.

    See Build Thread ;)
The wiring according to the instructions were off a little. I wired the way it said to and unlock was lock and vice versa. I posted the colors in my build thread but I think it was blue to Blue and green to Black.
Only took me about 30 minutes to install though.

Makes sense but I would think you will still rub a very small amount when you hit certain bumps just right with the wheel turned. I will say that I had less rubbing before I got the truck aligned. If you get no rubbing at all pulling into parking lots or bumps at speed then I don’t understand these trucks. I can’t see how each one can be so different.

I never posted this in here but I always felt my truck was not aligned correctly from the factory as it took a lot of effort to keep it in between the lines. I have a really good alignment shop I go to and here are the before and after values.

I did get more rubbing with the 285/75/16 after it was aligned, more specifically it started barely rubbing on the front wheel well but all it needed was a heat gun and a roller. All good now!

Is it the 17" rims on the stock lift that makes it look that way?
