With all the protesting and other extracurricular activities this past week, won't be surprised to see a spike in cases.

Kinda thinking most folks are over it though and going back to going about their business, wearing masks if they feel concerned, not if they don't.

Edit - I think Inda extended stay at home to end of June. Unsure of other nations.

I dont understand this after hours stuff. Is it real if I cant sell stuff? I am up 18-20% even counting the stuff I lost my ass on. Its crazy. Figure that all goes away once it opens.

I started out worried I'd catch it and staying home almost all the time. Now I learned that the northern half of this county only has one active case, yet our governor bases all decisions on Boston so nothing has been relaxed. It's so frustrating.

My girlfriend's sister lives near Buffalo and they went out to eat last night. It's absolutely incredible that's a possibility there but not here.

Well I went to bed last night with a DREAM pre-market limit order sell of $2 for 500 shares of HTZ (It was at $1.5 at after-hours close) it all sold this morning and then the jobless report comes out and we've ADDED 2.5M jobs and HERTZ goes apeshit...I still think it's a pump and dump but my 500 shares sold cover over 100% of my initial investment...I'm still tempted to dump the last 200@ the open and re-buy later today because I think holding over the weekend is very risky. This is the most bizarre market ever. A completely honest company telling us they hare headed for bankruptcy...who is auctioning off cars, laying off 10,000 employees and sold off their office buildings....is a buy????

 

We went out to eat 2 weeks ago in TN and it was nice to do that again.

 

Turn off CNN, go to a restaurant, and enjoy yourself.

 

huh? i dont watch cnn or fox news for the matter.
not a chance I am going anywhere. still 1k + deaths per day and a family member of mine recently caught it and everyone in the household now has it.
very real.

 

According to CDC, 99.7% chance they'll be ok, much higher if they're below 65 years old.

In all honesty, I hope they do make a full recovery.

 

Do whatever you are comfortable doing. That should have been the message after 1 month of shutdown. Avoid elderly and compromised individuals, and go do what you are comfortable with.

 

These protest are going to screw everything up. The MA governor rushed us to the next phase so in 2 weeks when the 200,000 new cases they can blame the roll out to the next phase and pull us back...and not blame the boston marathon size crowds gathering every day for 5 days...And if there isn't a massive flare up in 2 weeks we really have to reassess wtf is going on here...

BTW it's time to start the EEE scare tactics...They shut down all the end of day sports last summer, remember?

but, they are both immuno compromised, overweight and over 65. not good

Seriously though I hope they're ok, it's almost all old or unhealthy being killed by this, that's a very real fact.
