2021 Pro color Lunar Rock Metallic.

The Lunar Rock Metallic on the RAV4 isn't that similar to Cement in person. It actually doesn't look similar on screen to me. It's more of a pale green color. It looks good on the RAV4, but I'm not sure how it will look on the Tacoma.

I think the Trail Edition models that they've shown were Cement, so I wouldn't expect them to discontinue the color this year. Maybe for 2022, though Army Green would be the more logical candidate if Lunar Rock makes its way down to the lower trims that year. It would seem odd for Toyota to have two different versions of green on the lower trims.

I wanted to get Army Green or Barcelona Red when I was shopping for my 2020 Tacoma but since Army Green was the exclusive color for their top end model and I didnt want to pay that much I went with Barcelona Red instead. Most of the dealerships that I visited had like 500 White Tacoma's in different configurations, 5 black Tacoma's, 1-2 Red Tacoma's, and 1-2 in other colors. I got lucky that I found a single Barcelona Red with the long bed 180 miles away from where I live.

This. I have a cement and the wife has a Lunar Rav4. Lunar is a mid grey green and cement is a light grey blue. Both can look the same in different lights but very different in others. When you put them next to each other there is no mistaking the differences.

 

I called him out for dragging the video out for the YouTube algorithm. He bragged about how this video and his next pointless one added up to 10 minutes.

This is the stage 4 cancer that is killing YouTube, and their own algorithm is enabling it.

 

I'm glad I bought my Taco when I did.

 

Why you gotta hate on moms? I'm glad that Toyota picked this color. Maybe it will bring more females into looking at a Tacoma, because we all ready have enough douche bags.

 

I seem to be seeing a number of women picking up their first Tacoma’s on Reddit! My gf and I love the LR on the Rav. I’ll have to see it in person on the taco but the bigger body may make it a little unappealing. The same way I think army green on the tundra looks bad, too much green.

I always find it funny when you guys get excited about "your" color getting discontinued. Blazing Blue Pearl, Inferno Red, potentially Cement... I personally like the plethora of used truck parts in my color. When my painted body panels get destroyed... there will be plenty of options for sale on CL.

Ultimately, Toyota sold millions of each color. There's not a single color that is exclusive or unique.

Off that topic. I really hope the next color is not Lunar Rock Puke. Are we really giving credence to this video? I mean, the guy did hear from a friend on IG, who received an email, from a friend that polishes the lug nuts at the Toyota factory.

I hope watching this video through TW doesn't up the view count on YT... I hate this type of video. An ounce of content with pounds and pounds of useless fluff.
