I usually document cars I modify and figured I'd start one for this Tacoma. This is my third Tacoma (my Father in law's was given to me when he passed, a 2017 TRD Pro I sold last year to replace with a Raptor and now this one).

    Picked up this past Wednesday:

Ordered parts before getting the truck including wheels, tires, painted fender flares (gasp...that's sacrilegious) and headlights. Removed the window visors and side steps Tuesday and got the headlights on Wednesday...waiting on the harness. Going in for tint on Wednesday as well.

First of all your truck looks awesome! I have two questions for you. How do you like that Prinsu rack? Do you get much wind noise from it? Did you order those TRD Pro headlights from a dealership? What did they end up setting you back?

Thanks. I haven’t noticed any wind noise, but I’m “wind noise deaf” from some of my other cars. :D

I ordered the headlights from Norwalk Toyota. I think they’re the cheapest by a few bucks and paid $1357 plus the $85 harness from xrunnerdude. Xrunner gave me a coupon code code for 1% off (IH85P) from Norwalk.

Thanks! I’ve been debating on getting a prinsu rack. Post pictures when you get those headlights installed!

Removed the Predator steps, removed the front mudflaps, added ceramic tint all the way around (50% on top of privacy glass, 25% in front and Air80 on the windshield) as well as MESO Customs interior LED lights which you obviously can't see.

    A lot more parts coming...

Looks great! Looks like you also removed your wind deflectors.

Also, would you be interested in selling your OEM headlights?

Not RJ. When I was 17 (over half my life ago) I had Ro_Ja wheels on my first S2000 and made that username on car forums. Just stuck with it since as people know me on a few.

Threw the wind deflectors in the recycling bin. The headlights I’ll put for sale once I get the harness and get the new headlights in.

Was there an issue with them? Or did you just prefer the look without the deflectors? Been on the fence on getting a set.

So did the truck start as a 2019 PRO? I'm interested to see how the new wheels and tires look on there.

    Auto or manual transmission?

It’s a ‘17 Pro...the only year the Pro came in Cement. It’s an AT.

Will post decent pics in the next week or two.
