    Evening all:
Had to make a run up to Lowes to get a piece of PVC pipe to fabricate a tool for a lower unit on a Johnson outboard. No line this time, but was surprised to see 4 demonstrators standing on a corner with signs, first time I have ever seen that in our area. NBD, they weren't doing anything out of line and maybe they are just hoping to get their picture in the paper.

Good morning folks :hattip:. Happy Wednesday to those still working or Happy Saturday for the retirees (everyday is a Saturday). Our area is still in the stay at home or as our governor has it the RED area. It is supposed to go to YELLOW by Friday. I hope it does so I can go get a haircut. It's been almost 5 months and I'm getting that 70's look :annoyed:. Enjoy the day and be safe.

Good morning, all! Like Ken, our county is still in the Red and goes Yellow on Friday...not that it will make a huge difference. I've solved the haircut issue - bought a decent set of clippers and have cut my own twice now. Lynn even commented yesterday that I'd done a pretty good job. I'll be saving the $$ that I used to give to the barber for more mods for the truck!!

Hi Mark, how much do you charge for a haircut... I'll be up in a couple of hours (LOL ) Good retirement business. Make your own hours, and work from home. :)

Morning, all! Wild storm yesterday afternoon that took out our power. The new (year old) whole house back-up generator performed like a champ. We were on the generator for about 6 hours until power was restored- swapped back over about 2AM this morning while we slept. nice.

Enjoy the day - supposed to be a nice one here in northeast PA. Be safe!!

Generators are like central a/c was, back in the 60's. Increases the value of your home, easier to sell a house with one, so now it's an investment.
The next latest-greatest is battery backup for your house.. Tesla PowerWall is already on the market, but it's expensive. Lithium is dangerous to mine, and scarce. China has cornered the market, as usual. Inroads are being made in battery technology, though.

Good morning all. We have a generator out here, have had one since 2012 and it was well worth every penny. We did some landscaping two summers ago and now I NEED to hook it back up, thanks for the reminder Col, it is our summer afternoon 'set-your-watch' storm season up here. Guess what I will be doing this weekend.

Off to Costco for a morning run with my peeps 60+

    Have a great day

Morning folks. Lots of trees and especially branches down from the winds. Many areas lost power and stop signs were put out where traffic lights were out. I try to stay off the roads when they lose power because there is no courtesy from some people:annoyed:, mostly your young professional millennial's that need to get nowhere fast:rolleyes:. All is good today so be safe out there folks.

Well the COS Costco has changed their hours for 60+ seniors but neglected to post it. They now open at 0900-ish so my early run was for not, had to hang out in the parking lot until they opened.

Oh well changes what are you going to do??? Have a great Friday everyone

:hattip:Morning all. More rain on the way, I just hope there is no thunder. The wife was up half the night with the Grand dog because of the thunder. He can't take loud sudden noise (he'd make a lousy hunting dog). I didn't hear anything Sleeping.jpg . Have a great day folks and be safe.

They have opened up more of the state which is a plus. Cabelas in Hamburg is open :yay::woot:and maybe my barber for a haircut. This hippie look is not my style:(.

I just came back from the weekly shopping run. Including the PA state liquor store, :woot:

The last place I was in was the little mom&pop bakery where I get a loaf of bread for my dad. Popular place -- I was standing in line outside for 10 minutes. Guy in front of me went in without a mask. I didn't notice anything until I saw him arguing with the owner, who was refusing him service. He eventually walked out with two items.

I don't understand what's so hard about putting a mask on for 60 seconds to pick up an order and pay for it. The poor devils in the store have to wear them all day!

Some people are just rude and idiots Dave. He should not have been served at all. Abide by the rules or stay out I say. Glad you are taking care of your Dad.
