Went car shopping today looking for a replacement for the wife’s Enclave. Considered and was set on leasing a Kia Telluride based off of online numbers. Was confused as to why I couldn’t view the window sticker online. I found out at the dealership...they’re marking them up due to limited supply and overwhelming demand. The one we looked at was marked up $14K. I thought this only happened to Tacoma’s!!!

 

Sad thing is, some idiot will pay it.

Edit: I will say, there doesn't seem to be hard times for the dealerships despite what is going on. All these payment deferments perhaps? We've been looking around a bit ourselves, and it seems to business as usual...same tired tactics and lies as before. Thing is, all the dealerships we went to were practically empty of shoppers compared to the past. Apparently with the exception of Kia, right?

 

found this yellow clip today underneath the passenger seat.. couldnt make a match between the airbag wiring. Anyone ever come across it?



honestly looks like some fuse removal tool that grew legs

 

Ive seen the same type of clip on the radio bezel

 

Dont tell anyone but it already has a light on

 

guess I will find out tomorrow when I swap out trim trings.

 

I’ve seen it on radio and other dash pieces as well, specifically lower dash. Like around the steering wheel.

 

Not a fucking soul to be seen, damned waste of time! We've decided to buy used...fuck'em

 

It is most likely from the plastic around the bottom of the seat. Mine popped off installing seat covers

 

It's an interior trim clip for sure. Had any of the dash apart?

 

Maybe it is just me, I am not a manufacturer of anything, but it seems that the solution to this problem is a bolt like the top one, not the bottom bolt with a washer.
Good thing I have plenty of bolt packs for European motorcycles.

 

Solution to what problem?
Bolt at the bottom with a washer will hold whatever that bracket is in place. Top bolts are designed to hold in place but also allow to pivot, like the bolts that hold your tailgate cables and seatbelt pivot points.

 

What Bill, said.. That bolt is a shouldered bolt. designed to hold things in place while letting them move (rotate). Fastenal carries them with different length shoulders on them.

 

I guess it seems like a 10mm hole should use a 10mm bolt. An 8mm bolt would have too much free play wouldn’t it? It is for a light bar.

 

You would think so. Unless the bracket and the light bar have those little locking teeth/notches built in to them to keep said light bar from rotating. but that kinda counter productive to me.
