Installed the diesel led reverse lights. These things are bright! The picture shows the difference of stock to led. $60

Took off the decal and painted toyota letters. Sanded, 3 coats of paint and 2 coats of glossy clear coat. 30 minute intervals. Took 2 hours of prep. Before and after.

I was just out there tonight messing around with my totes to see how they fit. Amazing how the bed space disappears, especially with my spare mounted like this.

Have you thought about getting one of those bed extenders? It would be just like having a long bed tacoma

Whelp, I rotated my tires, changed the oil and greased the zerks..... until this happened (its the obvious picture) I did get it full of new grease, how much time do I have before it blows up? I have a 1200 mile road trip coming up in a few weeks. It snaped right off. Also found out that toyota replaced my failed rear u joint with a non greaseable one so thats cool....

Anybody in WA have driveline experience? I might as well just replace all of the u joints besides the very rear and do the carrier bearing while everything is apart

Installed some Caliraised Bed Channel supports. One of the D Ring torx bolts Was a pain in the ass and stripped but overall the install went well. Next I installed some RCI Offroad A-arm Skid Plates. Good day

Luckily (is it lucky tho?) my wife is always working so she’s unable to camp most of the time. This translates to me not needing to bring much stuff out whenever I camp.

I know you’d like to have her with you like I enjoy mine going with me. It’ll happen and soon there will be another.
I couldn’t even fit all my trash cans in back with the spare there. Look at the 27 gallon totes at Lowe’s the black ones with the yellow tops they are pretty tough and stack well

Tricked my two sons into changing my diff fluids ...... hardest damn diff job ever.
    1FB16558-CD25-4CB7-9778-945B0254A1B4.jpg

while they tackled that I sprayed my skids with some zinc paint and will do the black tomorrow. And in between coats installed my solar setup. I will say the solar and extra battery was by far the easiest mod I’ve done and can’t wait until the sun comes up to see if I actually did it right ....... probably should have installed it in the daylight.
