Wanted to share with y'all. Getting married in October and tonight I'm prototyping boutineers.

Thanks, I wanted to do something more meaningful to me, and something that'd last longer than flowers.

I've got a few Steelhead flies that are crazy cool looking. Let me check a few out and see if they would be worthy to copy.

WOW. If they're this far behind now, it's gonna be a while before it becomes readily available.
Honestly, I've never purchased ammo from the base. Thanks to the new laws, I haven't purchased ammo in California this year.

I think they're going to be seafoam/teal-ish in color.

I found these in my saltwater box. Thinking they’re for Tarpon, though one on bottom right is a crab type, so probably for Permit. I’ve never used them for Tarpon.. No Tarpon spotted while fishing. Well, none that were feeding, anyway. These flies are pretty wild. Depends on your mood I suppose.

I was considering salt water flies for the size and how colorful they were, but I've never done flats fishing. I wanted to do like those fancy edwardian era salmon flies, hard part is finding the materials for those.

How good are you at tying, and do you need to be the guy that makes them. Understand if there's the special desire for you to make them. Otherwise, I have several friends who are great at tying, and have garages full of materials. I'm sure they'd be proud to make them for you if you pick out the one you want.

Oh, and you gotta try flats fishing. It's a freakin blast!!!!!

One day I will! I'm okay at tying at the moment, but I would like to make these myself. I have an order for materials with FishFirst coming up.
