Beeps and chime

I have wanted to try that, but I heard something prime when my key hits it. I have not figured out if that is important long-term or not.

Some of you guys get so worked up over a few beeps and chimes, what do you do when confronted with a real problem.

No. It is right at the outer end of the barrel, which is also stupid. In my parents' old GMs, I only had to pull the key out a little and the chimes would stop.

Some pump cycles as soon as the key touches it. So, I bounce between thoughts of that, tearing out the speaker, or hoping vF may get us access to other ECUs.

 

I wonder what it would take to look that up. Like a wiring schematic wouldn't help eh? You'd almost need ECU programming info?

I have not had any issues in the 2.5 years, since I did the hack.
