Shit at 12k even it halfway works it should pull you out no problem.

Where is the contractor? Seemed unlikely it would fit anywhere in the bumper.

 

Elsewhere, it came with a relocation kit, including brackets to mount on another surface and cables. I haven't decided if I want it on the top of the bumper or somewhere in the engine bay yet. I'm leaning toward the engine bay. Anyway the entire thing is IP69x rated so it's not really a concern. Has wireless and wired remote function too.

 

Sounds like quite the setup. Very nice. Are the mounting points the standard 4 x 10 pattern?

 

Yup, fit right in and bolted down perfect. Completely standard and it only had one set of holes

 

That was the one concern I had.

I had to go find my HF coupon book/magazine (found it in the recycle bin ) to see their ad for this. Listed at $599. -20% = $480 + tax. I'll bet they will have it marked down even further at some point. I think I might keep an eye on this. If for no other reason so Dan won't disown me for having a smittybilt.

 

I got it for $480. I remember seeing it in store for $799 at one point so I jumped on it. Just gotta be prepared to make a longer clutch handle since it isn't clockable.

 

Would it not fit underneath the top plate?
