    The way this one is configured with synth rope and the contactor box relocated the winch itself weighs in just a hair over 42lbs

    Minus all the dents and cracks. And certainly don't look at the mounts. :rofl:

    I bought a 4 liter kit and used 3. You may be able to get by with 2 if you're careful. My last bottle was just covering some thin spots, and then hitting everything lightly again.

    A buddy made them for me. Don't think he's making more for the time being.

    There's at least one company that makes off-the-shelf supports for the 1st gen though.

    I think those are a solid choice. I've been running AT3 XLTs for a while now and been happy with them.

    We'll see how it holds up, but first impressions are excellent.

    Yeah I don’t need the beefy sidewalls and am looking to save weight. They also have a $75 rebate going right now.

    Besides...I’ve ripped a hole in three different BFG KO or KO2s anyway. As you know.

    Pretty much anything oily or carbony. At work if we have to work an an aluminum intake manifold we just soak it in a bucket of the stuff and it comes out new. Alternately if you want to avoid dangerous chemicals you can soak it in marvel mystery oil or atf
