I went out to wash my truck today and discovered that what I thought was a front end covered in bugs was actually tar. It’s absolutely covered in little spots and they’re almost impossible to scrub off.

I need something that’s gonna dissolve the tar. It’s just too much to scrub off.

Anyone have a product to recommend?

WD40 works great on road tar.

Carpro Tar X does work really well with road tar. Might be able to find Stoners Tarminator locally, I've not used it.

I've been very satisfied with Stoner's Tarminator. I usually get it through Autogeek but I did recently see it locally at an auto parts store but I can't remember which one.
