well depends on what you plan on using the toy for?

theres lift options, wheels & tires, engine mods, audio/video mods, or appearance mods maybe if you could tell us what you plan on doing with it we can chime in.

my .02 cents would be lift, wheels & tires, engine mods :D

Well definitely want a lift, not sure about a 6" or 3" (body or suspension)(truck is used to commute to work everyday)(30miles) Of course ill be getting rims and tires soon...what size or rim do you all recommend with each lift? Really a little of everything, but like all things, time and money...It will all come...

Well if your commute is that long I would recommend an S/C to help with gas mileage.

nah but for reals be ready to regear if you start going up in wheels and tires or you will see your gas mileage start to drop...

Go 3" suspension lift and I wouldn't go much bigger than the stock size. I have about 2" of lift and run 265-75-R16s. Still looks good but when I flex it I can stuff the wheelwells with out damaging the tires. Also, didn't have to do a bunch of trimming. The biggest thing is to avoid a spacer lift. They're junk.

well we all pretty much drive our tacos daily so hmm

if you go with a 3" lift go suspension something like that ultimate lift from toytec i recommend not doing a spacer lift, i had one and well ya it sucked it allowed for bigger tires but the ride was harsh, and i know up north theres more canyon trail riding so yea you'll want something that can take that ish.

Toytec Suspension lift: Spacer Lift: ok heres the thing with tires like lou said you can run 16" wheels with some 33's no problem but if in the future you decide you want to step up to a 6" lift you will need atleast a 17" wheel to clear the components. So decide what you really want to do because you dont want a set of wheels and tires that you cant use on a bigger lift unless you dont mind spending the $$ later on.

tires: i have ran nitto terragrapplers, bfg ta kos, and now duratracs and by far i would recommend the duratracs! its the most aggressive looking a/t tire by far, wears well and yea i wont switch! now if you want MT tires you will have to get some advice from dom, anthony, david, and dustin they the mud lovers :)

body lift: tacotron aka anothony has a 3" body lift and well finding a place to install a body lift ugh yea good luck with that ha ha, and if you do get one and the mounts bust through the floor later on yea your screwed but dont tell anthony that :D:cool:

all in all with the lift go big or go home:headbang: if i could have done it all over again i would have definitely went 6" from the beginning
