Tailgate got fucked up by me backing into a metal pole While backing down a small little shitty rarely used boat ramp with my tailgate down and my pontoon boat on top of it

 

And yes eventful to say the least.... made things worse when I couldn’t be in the hospital with my wife because of the restrictions.... I’m pissed most that they didn’t test her...

Same shit different day considering the current situation. Been working from home since Friday March 13th, oldest who is in K has been home since, and same for the Mrs who is a K teacher in the next town over. Doing Google classroom for school, both of them. Kiddo started a week before the Mrs, so when it came time for the Mrs to get hers going, she already had some "experience" with it and made it easier to get hers going. And no soccer since then either. The place where I was playing basically closed down, just like every other place that has group activities, and hasn't re-opened yet because of the state's restrictions. Got cut down to 4 work days a week starting in April until end of June, as of right now. So because of that, just trying to do some small projects around the house on my day off, or at least start them, and then finish them over the weekend.

 

One of the Matchbox vehicles my son has. Used to be mine. Says 1981 on the bottom. Can't believe it's about 40 years old . Now I feel old

Been trying to keep the kiddos busy with this distance learning for the oldest, and keeping the 4 year old busy as well.

We've all been home since March 13th when this all blew up. Mrs is a teacher, so it's nice to be home as a family. It was tough at first, but we got into a routine.

Hope everyone is doing well.

 

Well stuff has settled down since the last time I posted... just working and looking forward to my week long camping/fishing trip. Started my first week of furloughs (One day a week for 8 weeks) with fishing and beers later with @ST77

 

Yeah... I got cut down to 4 days a week a little while back as well. It was supposed to be until the end of June, but a couple of weeks ago it got extended to the beginning of September. But hey, still got a job so can't complain.

 

Are you able to get some of that cares act money being dropped to 4 days a week??

 

Naw. But all good.

 

For my daughter it hasn't been too bad. Kind of a mess for my son. Started off with packets, then a mix of packets and computer. Now with only a couple weeks left, it's all computer. Very disorganized.

 

i bet you some school districts will use this as an opportunity to write this in to the way they teach for like snow days...
