not being passive aggressive. There is a reason why it is good for LEO to be able to see inside of the car. Maybe I ready your post wrong. It made it sound like there is zero reason for them to be able to see in the car/truck

I don’t wear panties and under the black chaps is a big fat white ass that is visible for 270 degrees. Safety first.

there’s totally a reason - limit potential scumbag criminals from concealing anything illegal/dangerous - especially firearms. But I’m not one lol, so I take the gamble.

What does that have to with why I MYSELF do it? And how does bending a very minor law I’ve Never once been ticketed for mean I’m suddenly less pro-LE? Lmfao aha.

For the third time now, I don’t endorse the windshield tint at 5% that’s dumb as fuck for multiple reasons.

maybe we can PM if you want to continue instead of making this thread worse than what it is? You tell me there is a reason for it, then tell me you have tint. Just contradictory. It’s interesting. Nothing more. No offense and I’m not looking to get into an argument. Initial thing was “pretty” pro law enforcement....until you want to “bend” rules.

Lmfao. My best friend is a cop. My future father in law is a cop. My youngest brother will be a cop here shortly. Yes, I’m a “pretty” pro LE.

guess what? None of them give two shits about my tints. I think it’s funny you assume the only way to be pro-LE is to follow every little law. There’s absolutely nothing to PM you about lol.

I 100% doubt anyone follows every single law to a T. Known or unknown. That being said I think we're splitting hairs here.

guess what gives them... and me a reason to pull you over ;)

story I heard in the academy. Cop signs off on his wife’s tint ticket (I believe it was given by a sheriff or CHP). Well, she gets caught with it AGAIN and by THE SAME LEO. Lol. That LEO notified the superior and it did not go well for the cop. I was half awake during that story and for some reason it stuck

You know if you get pulled over and have dark tints you can always roll your drivers side window down before the cop even gets outta his car, maybe turn on your interior lights. Heck you can roll all your windows down if you think it’ll make him or you feel more comfortable.

Haha!! I actually knew a guy who did this!! Limo tint! Got him out of speeding tickets. He would get the fix it ticket, remove the the tint, pay the $35 and just put the tint back on. Made me laugh and a hell of a lot better than a speeding ticket

So does 65+... but there’s millions driving around daily above 65 that support LE, including family members of cops lmfao. You act like bending a minor law is somehow a direct disrespect to you as an officer. Sorry, not the case here.

I’ll gladly accept the ticket if it happens. It’s the law, but I’ve never had an issue and probably never will. Maybe it’s blue lives matter sticker and the “support our LE” sticker on the rear glass coupled with a Clean record and even cleaner attitude when pulled over lol.

5% is nothing in Phoenix. There’s plenty of those driving around here. They go with that percentage because they don’t want to pay for ceramic tint. I have 50% on the windshield and only a handful of times i wish it was darker.

I wear really, really dark sunglasses when I drive and there’s nothing the man can do about it. 5575EEDB-3154-4109-80E8-35F7BBA387A8.jpg

My quote was less about avoiding getting ticketed more about not impeding an officers ability to see into your vehicle during a traffic stop. I hear ya though.

I run 5% all the way around (not the windshield) with a tint exemption certificate issued by the state. I have to have it due to my eyes hypersensitivity to light. If I’m ever pulled over my window is already down and my hands are always visible for the safety of the officer and myself. It’s definitely possible to have dark tint and still know how to properly interact with LEO’s without putting anyone in harms way.

I gotcha. I always roll my windows down and hands on the wheel to make any officer feel (More) Comfortable.
