Anyone interested in a MESO 3rd gen TRD push start button. I received a replacement one since the first one I got was just a little off and MESO sent out replacements. As long as your not too OCD it shouldn't really bother you. Picture of the off-centered one below. Free to anyone that wants it.

Good Morning SATX! Another hot one coming up!

Forgot to get a pic of the sons desk taking shape - but he got one and put Insta-stuff on it. I did the big cutting, and it's all his from there this time.


Put some patch soil in the yard, and fixed up the greenhouse drip hose nice and clean. I'm not OCD!



Got rid of some awful T fittings and redid them, and made corners with elbows. Fastened it to the structure too, so it's nice and secure. Gave up on misting experiments and just ordered the darn thing.



And the first veggie award goes to the sweet banana pepper - newest of the plants. Got one little tomato, and many flowers that will be fruits started. They seem to like the watering schedule so far; they get a 20 minute at 7, and a 10 minute at 12 and 6!

Yesterday, the wife and I went over to Rainbow nursery, here in town. We picked up three large lingstrum shrubs for the fence line/ privacy and also a fairly large olive tree (which im pretty excited about). Now my project for today is digging the holes and planting them ( harder than it sounds since they are large and we have a ton of rock in the ground here.)
Have any tips or experience with growing a successful olive?

 

Nope! Not a tree grower yet! Dropping hints that I want to tear out another strip of grass alongside the pool, and make a landing for some small trees in big pots. Could move some Hibiscus pots between them too, and make more walkway. Wife wants a lemon, been thinking of an olive or a pecan (I'd have to sell it off after a while, maybe an orange (@Acabsurf ?). It would be entertaining.
Oldest son plants trees on his property out in Leander (rocks as well), and he has an olive that I don't remember any special treatment he gave it. His gardening rule is that "it grows on it's own, or it doesn't".
